We placed our ordered and I just couldn't wait for the food. Damn I should have taken a small taste of the cake. I'm going to be honest with myself. I'm always eating something and to my surprise I'm not sure where it all goes.
I look around the restaurant. It's cute and small family owned restaurant. I never been to a place like this but I'm liking it. I look across the room and see a guy watching us. There's no way his watching me. He has to be watching madriha. Yes that's it! He's watching her there no way he would be watching me.
Then he smiled at me. Oh my gosh he was really looking at me. No guys has ever looked at me. Grabbing my drink to hide my smile. Maybe he likes me. There's no way a guy like that would ever like.
"So tell me about this job," she asked.
"This is like a dream. I would be working as personal assistant. The pay will be good. This will be a good experience for me since I'm on my own and my parents cut me off because I won't marry that guy. I'm not going to marry someone because they forced me. I want a marriage out of love," I said setting my drink down.
"That's how it should be," she said
"I'm glad you agree with me. Your the only one that understands me," I said.
"That guy keeps on staring at you," she said.
"I don't think it's me he's starting at," I said.
"Why do you keep putting yourself down. Your smart and beautiful," she said.
I looked back over in the direction of the guy. He looks hot but there's no way a guy would ever see me as beautiful or let alone like me. He smiled so I looked away. Damn I wish the food was here so we can eat and get out of here.
Just on queue our food was placed on our table. I didn't wait another minute. I just started to stuff my face so I can get out of here.
"You need to slow down and chew your food. Don't embarrass me in public. People are starting to stay," she said.
I shrugged my shoulders at her and continue eating. I really didn't care what people think. This is who I am. I stuff my face when I get nervous. I just hope he stops looking over here.
This was getting to be really creepy. Getting up I place the napkin over my plate.
"I'll see you at the car," I say throwing down a $20. I hope this covers our meal.

James's POVSitting at my usually table. I hear the door and I wasn't expecting to see her here. This is my favorite restaurant and I just hope I don't make a fool of myself.
"So did she take the job," Klaus asked.
"Yeah she did and she starts Monday morning," I said with a smile.
"I'm hoping that this doesn't backfire in your face. You better hope she doesn't find out what your up to.," he said
"Don't worry about me. I'm making sure that she doesn't find out who I am or what I'm up to," I said with a smile.
"What's up with you? I've never seen you smile that much," he said waving his hands in front of my face.
"See that girl behind you," I asked him.
He turns around to look.
"That's her. Isn't she beautiful," I said.
"Now I see why you agreed to go along with your father's plain. But she looks like the type that won't deal with BS," he said.
"Don't worry about me. I know what I'm doing and no one will get hurt," I said.
"Do me a favor stop staring at her. You don't want to freak her out even before you make your move on her," he said.
"Is it that obvious," I asked.
"Yes, it's obvious. Now let's get out of here. Don't forget we're meeting the girls at the club tonight," he said.
That snapped me out of my daze really quick.
"What club and what girls? I never agreed to anything," I said looking at him confused.
"No backing out of this. You made a promise over a month ago and it's only one date and it won't kill. Plus if you don't like her you can always come up with an excuse to leave," he said laughing.
"I'll go for a few drinks and that's it. This by far isn't a date. I don't do dates and you know that," I said.
"You don't do dates huh? What about that girl that just walked out the door. Aren't you trying to date her," he said.
"She's different and it's none of your business," I said getting pissed off.
"Whatever man! Don't ask me to spy on her for you again," he said getting up.
"Come on man! Don't be like this. Your my best friend. I'll be there tonight," I said.
