"H-hey gene!" Zane said shyly.
"Hey Zane! So glad you could make it!" Gene replied.
"No Sasha or zenix?" Zane asked.
"It's a date silly! It's just you and me!" Gene smiled warmly.
"Oh. Okay!" Zane responded innocently .
"Hey, come over here with me, it's my favorite part of the park!" Gene said, running ahead of Zane, zane barely keeping up.
They arrived at an empty area of the park, where no one really could see them.
Gene pulled a switchblade out.
"Gene what are you gonna do with that?" Zane asked, backing up into a tree nervously.
"Relax. I was just gonna carve some wood." Gene replied lazily.
Gene stabbed Zane is the arm.
"Oh my Irene! I'm sorry!" Gene said, sounding sincere.
It was a lie.
Gene sliced Zane's mask off, the knife grazing Zane's skin, leaving a small cut.
Zane could feel blood trickle down his arm and face.
Then there was tears.
"Stop crying you baby!" Gene said harshly.
"Listen? I don't want to see your pathetic face again, ever. Got it?" Gene questioned.
Zane nodded rapidly.
"Good." Gene said coldly.
Gene kicked Zane to his knees before knocking him over completely, and quite literally walking all over him.
Zane snuck into his window that night.
