chap 8 titan fight part 1 of 3

Y/N pov

You got a tip over the milita radio while on Patrol that the titan fights were happening tonight you finish your patrol and head back to the lastimosa you found cooper in the hanger.

Cooper pov

I was working on legion when y/n ran up to me and told me the milita was holding titan fights and they were using old Imc titans to fight milita pilots and the winner with the most points got to take commander briggs out to dinner and earn the rank of captain y/n was pumped for it he ran over to vortex and went to the range and practiced with the holograms.

4 hours later

Y/N was still training he had not eaten all day I was worried about him y/n asked me to come train with him I accepted and ran into the training room

Another 4 hour pass and it was time for the titan fights.

Y/N pov

I took cooper to the titan bay and we got ready for the fights you we were in the same pool

First match Y/N vs Lastimosa

Y/N Pov I look at lastimosa and he nods good luck captian you say then you both embark in both your titans then head to the lifts then we enter the battle ground as the pilots call it.

Lastimosa pov
Can't believe I have to fight y/n for my first match but he will put up quite a fight I say as vortex draws his sword and is about to attack I told bt to evade and strike at the right moment but y/n and vortex were one step ahead of us the take out our legs then raise their sword to finish us but i didn't feel anything I heard BT's cockpit door open and there was y/n with a hand out to me I took it then he flipped me over and pinned me to the ground and I smiled under my helmet and said good job y/n he helped me up

Y/N pov I had just taken down captian then looked,up at the score board and saw 400 point be added under my name and I gasped in my mind I said geez that's alot for one match and you were ready for the next match.

Next match. Cooper vs veteran

Veteran had the ion titan class and cooper knew he would beat him but then cooper remembered that he was with the unit that showed no mercy to any bad guy and with that you and vortex sat in the corner of the battle ground and watched the battle to make sure veteran did not hurt cooper and they both entered the battle ground then they started the match bear and Kate met up to join you in watching the fight then you saw veteran take out his ion cannon and ronin alerted you that veteran's cannon was loaded with lethal rounds and you thought if he shoots cooper you have to interven well just then you saw legion take a big fall you then hit veteran's titan with your sword disarming him and you hold your sword to his cockpit then he lets go of his ion canon and walks away back to his lift you disembark vortex and run to coopers titan only to pick him up.
