Levi POV:
I stood outside of the infirmary. (Y/n) was inside getting the bullets removed from her wounds. She was lucky unlike Moblit, Gunther, and Eld. They died at the warehouse...just like Oulo. It all hurt but I had to stay strong for her.
The doctors walked out and said I could go in and see her. I pushed passed them and raced inside. My eyes grow wide at the sight. She laid there with bandages over her leg, stomach, and head. She was peacefully asleep.
Erwin walked in and saw his daughter. His eyes narrowed in anger and he grabbed me by the throat.
"You told me you would keep her safe," he yelled.
"She was in safe hands but Petra turned against her own and killed them all," I said. "We didn't know."
He let go and I gasped. I put a hand to my throat and then stared over at him.
"I would never put your daughter in danger. I love her," I stated.
"What?" Erwin said surprised and stared over at me.
"Erwin, I love her," I said again.
Erwin sighed. "She returns your feelings you know. She had told me she felt something towards you but she wasn't completely sure what it was but I knew."
"I promise to protect her, Erwin. I'll stay by her side always," I said firmly.
"I trust you," Erwin said.
Hanje then raced in. Her eyes were red and she must have been crying. She had lost Moblit and those two were very close. It's going to be hard for her now.
"At least she's okay," Hanje said and sighed.
"It'll be okay Hanje," Erwin said.
Hanje began to cry again and hugged Erwin tightly. I wanted to comfort her somehow but I didn't know what to do.
All the sudden I heard (y/n) stir and I looked over at the bed. She was awake.
Poor Hanje. I just want to hug her. *hugs Hanje*
