"Can I ask why you've suddenly decided to invite me for tea?" (F/n) asked as she fell into step beside Kyoya, her eyes lighting up slightly with curiosity.
"Well, it wasn't really my decision." He said matter-of-factly, spinning a pen in his hand. "I did help with the idea, but it was ultimately Tamaki's ending decision to bring you to tea."
She frowned. "What, am I that damaging to his social standing that he can't even ask me himself?"
"No. He's just getting ready for you, our special guest."
"That's the most glamorous thing I've ever been called." Her sarcasm was notable, and he chuckled.
(F/n) shoved her hands in her pockets, her eyes trailing around the overly detailed hallways and classroom doors. She'd always thought that the architects had overdone it with this place. Why not place your skills into making extravagant retirement homes? Or homeless shelters?
Of course, she would never understand the thought process of the higher class citizens. They had almost nothing to lose, so why not frolic around in their little blissful playground, throwing cash at everything in sight? Her shoulders slumped slightly, and she noticed that Kyoya had seen the small action. Surprisingly, he didn't comment on it.
Suddenly, a question came to her.
"Why does Suoh want to invite me to tea?" Her (e/c) eyes turned back to Kyoya, her eyebrows furrowing slightly in search of answers.
He blinked, then adjusted his glasses. All anime like, with the shine and everything. "Well, Tamaki has his own reasons, but he hasn't really seen you before. He likes to know the girl's here in the school."
"That sounds a little creepy, to be honest." She eyes narrowed slightly, then Kyoya gave her a look. She let out an amused huff. "Well, judging from how innocent he seems to be, I guess I'll take back my statement."
"He can be very insightful, when he wants to be." Kyoya said with a small smile. (F/n) could tell the two were close, even if Kyoya didn't show it. She forced back a smile. He was strange.
The two walked through the halls in mostly silence after that, only once did they speak up, and it was about textbook questions in their mathematics course. That was all.
Then, they arrived to the famous abandoned Music Room #3, where Kyoya opened the door before her to lead her inside. She blinked when rose petals spiralled out the overly large double doors, the only thought that bothered to cross her mind being, someone could choke on these.

The moment (F/n) stepped in, Tamaki was bewildered. She had such a small presence for such a beautiful girl. Her clothes of choice were interesting, something like paint splattered hand-me-downs. They suited her, though.
Tamaki was more intrigued with the dark circles under her eyes, but the amused smile that adorned her face. It oddly covered it up, somehow. He wondered if it was a secret commoners shared. More than once, he'd seen Haruhi with the same kind of bags but bright smile.
He'd have to ask.
But right now, he wanted to get to know this girl. He stood up from the velvet red couch, telling the ladies he'd been charming he'd be back, and sauntered over to the poor looking girl, plucking a rose from a vase along the way.
"(F/n)-chan, if I'm correct?" He said with his natural flourish, Kyoya moving out of the scene to observe with the rest of the hosts.
Tamaki kneeled down and held out the flower that was popular with romance, and (F/n) blinked slowly at him.
"It's (L/n)." She finally said, and it felt like an arrow shot through his chest, twisting and anchoring there. Was she serious? "Um... you requested to see me?"
Those were not the words he'd imagined her saying. Not at all. Those were the wrong words. A host never requests to see a person, or else that would be viewed as favouritism. Oddly, though, the ladies interests seemed to peak as (F/n) said that.
He recovered his composure quickly, standing up smoothly. "Of course I have, my dear."
"(L/n)..." Was her muttered response.
"I wanted to get to know more about this second commoner we have. It's not everyday you get into the academy, you know." His statement was said freshly, and he placed his hand over his chest. He noticed her raise an eyebrow slightly, and he offered her a hand. "Join me for tea?"
She adjusted her stance, then drew out a sigh, allowing a somewhat amused smile to stretch across her face. "I could go for some."
(F/n) didn't take his hand, but he lead her to one of the many tables, excusing himself to go get her some tea and cake. She didn't say anything, but nodded quietly, her eyes straying to the window.
Tamaki frowned slightly, but went on his way to get the refreshments, smiling brightly to a few girls who were chatting at a nearby table.
"(F/n)-chan doesn't seem to be that engaged, boss..." Kaoru muttered, him and his brother observing the girl watching the window absentmindedly.
"It is the end of the day." Haruhi said, stopping as she was walking to a group of girls with a tray of cakes. "Us honour students have a big work load. And she's also the president of the art room. She might have a lot of weight on her shoulders."
"Well, that's why we brought her here in the first place, isn't she?" Kyoya adjusted his glasses. "To relax."
"Exactly, Kyoya." Tamaki beamed. "And I figured it'd be nice for her to get to get to know everyone. She seemed a little lonely earlier."
"That's true. I found her walking–"
Kyoya was cut off when one of the doors swung open. A third year boy glanced around, then spotted (F/n) at the table. "(L/n)-chan! The first years are being difficult again."
The girl blinked her tired (e/c) eyes, then stood up quickly. A small grin found her, and she jogged over with a newfound spark.
"I told you to drop the 'chan'." She hummed, and the third year gave a little huff. She rolled her eyes, and turned to look around for Tamaki. When she caught his eyes, she gave him an apologetic smile and wave, before exiting out of the room, the third year in tow.
Poor Tamaki stood there, awfully confused. The twins quickly went to some ladies to hide their snickers.
