Coven's P.O.V

"Coven Navarro," a lady with a breathy voice stated, with a slight tremble on the name. "Your test score placed you in Level D. Teachers will make sure to accomodate their teaching with your educational standards."

She handed me a piece of paper, her hand shaking all the while. I took the parchment and glanced at my schedule while biting the inside of my mouth.

I walked away without another word and steered myself to my homeroom. I saw student's eyes widen as they realized who I was. Some started whispering and others started blatantly staggering away from me.

Smirking, I opened the door to L2 and slipped inside. Pure amusement lit up my face as the reaction of several students near the door were the definition of entertainment.

Strutting into class, a few heads turned my way, all of their eyes wide. I took a seat in the back next to a black-haired girl with a mustard yellow t-shirt.

Leaning back, I scanned the classroom and its' students. My fellow seniors glanced at me from the corner of their eyes and some were scooting as far away from me as possible.

The other person that was to the left of me had suddenly disappeared, but the raven-haired girl still remained in her seat. I couldn't see her face because of her hair but she was typing something on her phone and a small ding would alert me everytime someone texted her back.

The wooden door opened and a woman with graying hair and a white, knitted cardigan came promendaing into the room. She smiled, showing off her bright white teeth and cleared her throat.

"Hello," the teacher said in her flat voice. "My name is Ms. Wilhite and I'll be your homeroom teacher. I also teach math for Level B students. Now, I'll take roll and if I pronounce your name wrong, please tell me."

She reached for a piece of paper and fixed her glasses. "Lara Aruso?" A girl with light brown hair and a blue and white checkered jacket raised her hand in response.

Wilhite called the names off one by one as I tapped my pencil on my desk. Some people threw me annoyed looks but once they saw my face their expressions turned from annoyance to fear. I gave them a petty, close-lipped smile and they turned back to the board.

"Wednesday Cho?" Ms. Wilhite asked.

I watched the girl next to me raise her hand silently and went back to her phone. I eyed her but carried onto annoying the shit out of people.

A cough interrupted my talented pencil drumming section and I glanced at the teacher's face that suddenly went pale. She kept re-reading something on the attendance sheet and finally decided she wanted to speak.

"Coven Navarro?" She said, her voice tremulous.

I raised my hand and told her the word I believe she was dreading. "Here."
