My mum came into my room a couple of hours later, she sat down on my bed and started to ruffle my hair, then she laughed
"You're getting so big,and sometimes I don't realise that!" she said.
"I remember when I was your age, I was hanging out with the wrong crowd, not like you baby, your my good little girl!" she said proudly.
"I'm not a baby mum!"I replied.
"No matter what I say you always answer back Megan!" mum sighed.
"Now get dressed, we're going out in an hour," mum said sternly, and with that she was out the door.
I went through my wardrobe to look for a nice outfit to wear. All
I had was my uniform,2 pairs of jeans and my favourite and only t-shirt. It has bookworm printed in black in the middle of the shirt and the little worms with books surrounding it.
I hardly had any clothes due to the fact that I never went out,I didn't need lots of clothes anyway. Shannon would never wear the same outfit more than once, which I thought was selfish,as there are poor children out their with no clothes at all!
I stuck my denim jeans on and my bookstore top, it took me at least 20 minutes to get my jeans on, I should have expected that since I haven't worn them in 2 years.
Yes,that's the last time I have been out, for all I know, Bonnie could've moved house by now now. I didn't need her anyway as long as I had my books, that's all I really needed.
I put my hair in a ponytail and tucked into "Great expectations" by Charles Dickens, it was one of my favourites. I have probably read it more than 50 times now. Although "David Copperfield" was my all time favourite book ever.
