Six months...

Half a year...

A long time...

A very long time...

That is how long it took mine and Claire’s divorce.

It was all over.

I was single.

Standing on the top of the stairs towards the entry of the court, I gazed out into the pouring rain. The black Mercedes Benz waiting for me outside that would take me home. Claire had moved out during the time of our divorce so I would be going back home alone. Tears built in my eyes as I thought everything through. Half a year it took all of this to happen, and I still had no sign of (Your name)... For all I knew, she could be dead in the hands of Kevin, but I wasn’t going to give up until I find her body.

“Aston,” a quiet female voice called me, which made me slowly come out of my day dream and turn my head to see Claire just behind my right shoulder. “I know this is all over, and we’re no longer married, but can we stay friends?” She asks quietly and slowly, which makes me smile “of course,” I whisper before swallowing hard. She smiles at me before gently kissing my cheek and walks over to the top of the stairs; she stops and turns to me “I’ll see you around Aston,” she smiles before turning to the stairs and walks down them, and out of the court doors. I watched her walk away from me... She’s gone, but now I have to return to my mission to find (Your name).

“Sir, your car is waiting to take you home,” a butler came over to me and told me as I looked at him and smiled “thank you,” I could just about get the words out of my mouth. I then followed him down the marble coated floor and out of the doors and over to the door of the car that was opened as I got to the door, but when I got in, the door shut behind me and the car began to drive me home.

Roughly ten minutes later, the Mercedes parked up outside my home, which I stared at. No one is in there. I’ll be the only who is living in there. Sighing, I climbed out the car and walked up my pathway and over to my front door, not even giving a damn that I was now soaked through from the rain. I’ll just have a bath. Turning the key, I opened my door and pushed it open but still standing at my door. The emptiness that it had was painful to look at! Stepping into my house, I closed the door but the rain could still be heard and no one was there to greet me. No Claire... No Ivy... No (Your name)... No one...

Suddenly the phone rang, this made me gasp with fright but I sighed after realizing the phone has noticed that I’m in and decided to tell me that I have someone trying to contact me. Slowly walking over to the phone, I picked it up and answered the call “hello?” I asked quietly “hey... It’s JB,” “oh... Hi,” I sigh “long day, huh?” He asks “yeah... Depressing too,” I sigh, as I sit on my sofa. “Claire’s gone I take it... From the silent background,” “yep... Gone forever,” I sigh “hey look... You’re still after (Your name),” “J I’M NEVER GONNA GET HER BACK, ITS BEEN HALF A FUCKING YEAR AND I HAVE NOTHING... NOTHING... FUCKING NOTHING,” I scream down the phone to him, but then I panic afterwards. I just screamed at my brother! “J... J I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to scream... I’m so stressed out... I’m so sorry,” I burst out into tears, but I can hear him sigh. “Its okay-” “No... It’s not okay, I’ve lost everything,” I cry down the phone to him “Ast... You haven’t! I swear to God, you say that again, I’ll make you realize that you still have the gang. Yeah, there’s one missing, but you have to understand that we are behind you EVERY step of the way,” “Yeah!” The rest of the group say in unison, which make me chuckle “thanks guys... I better go. I need to take a bath and then book tickets to go back to America,” “oooo Aston’s gonna be naked,” one of the girls (I don’t know who), says cheekily making me chuckle “yes, you have to be when taking a bath,” I continue to chuckle as the girls giggle “bye daddy,” Ivy’s voice suddenly comes out from nowhere “my baby! I haven’t heard your voice in ages, how are you?” “I’m okay daddy, how are you?” “Stressed baby, but I’m okay,” “have you found mummy yet?” She asks “no... I haven’t, but I will VERY soon, you keep singing that song for mummy,” I whisper to her as she I can hear her nod “yes daddy... Bye, I love you,” “I love you too baby,” I kiss her over the phone as she then sends me one back, before the line goes dead.

Although, how could I promise Ivy if I’ll ever find (Your name)? I might not EVER find her. I just had to keep searching, and like I said... I won’t stop till I find her body, although, as it has been half a year already, I have started to lose hope.

Will I ever find her?
