The rogue Queen

I love him.

He lifted up his head and looked at us as we walked in. It was evident that stress was consuming him. He stood up abruptly and slammed his hands on his desk. "I said I wanted to be alone! Who is this mutt you interrupt my quiet with!"

Sen and I both growled a bit, though I was much louder.  " Brother, I found this wolf around the border, she says she knows where Annabelle was taken and that she will help us save her" explained Sen. I was about to deny all of this but by the time I opened my mouth to do so, I felt a foot stomp on my own. That shut me up.

"Where! Where is she! Lead me to her now!" Yelled the Alpha. "Calm down brother, we need a plan." "No we don't Sen, I have planned every possible attack these past few days, all I need now is a location." "Then she will lead us" added Sen.

Both males left for the front of the house. A crowd of men, warriors I presumed were already there. I guessed they had been called through mind link. "Warriors!" He yelled. " It is time to reclaim our Luna!" All warriors yelled in approval, and started running after the alpha towards the woods. Sen told me to sit on his back while he ran so that we did not expose my identity.

When we got to the edge of the pack's territory, Sen and I took the lead. I decided it would be simpler to lead them to one of the hideouts and make sure all my rogues were gone before we got there. Annabelle would be fast asleep, bandaged up and shackled in the basement.

We ran for an other hour or so before we started running on familiar rogue territory. We slowed in front of a building that looked like it was falling appart.  The Alpha shifted back. " It smells stale, no one has been here in hours! Did you lie to us girl!" "No I didn't, they just all leave around this time of day to talk to the king!" Oups, little lie. The Alpha growled, walked to the building, broke the door down and went inside. About 10 minutes later he came back up holding a bandaged up, sleeping Annabelle. She was almost completely covered up in bandages. So maybe I went a little bit too far. It happens!

All the warriors looked at their luna with love and sadness. We ran back to the pack house, them hoping their Luna would be ok and me hoping I wouldn't get caught, or hated by Sen. He wasn't talking to me so I imagined he was a little bit mad.

Everyone was silent as we entered the pack house. The doctor took the Luna and brought her to the clinic, with the Alpha at her side. The warriors left to join up with their respective families and Sen pulled me up the stairs to his room. Once the door was locked, he broke the silence by saying "Why? Why would you order someone to do something like that? Why would you destroy and scar someone the way you just did. How can you live with that?"
"I didn't order anyone to do that." Technically not a lie. " That's not the point Lis! The point is you let someone get hurt like this! You let someone be destroyed from the outside in! She may never be the same! She may always live in fear! By not helping her you helped ruin her." I looked up at him, there was so much pain, vulnerability and sadness in his eyes. I think this is when I first really started loving him. I realized then and there how much of a beautiful soul he had and how lucky I was to have been paired with him. I also felt ashamed for the first time in my life, I felt ashamed for being the reason he was in pain, and for being such a horrible person in comparison.
I did all I could think of in that moment. I walked slowly towards him and hugged him. Nothing more, just a hug. I knew that he needed it and I did too. I felt something wet roll down my cheek, was it my tear? Or was it his? I didn't care to find out. He walked to the  bed and pulled me in with him. He wrapped his arm around me and I snuggled into his neck while inhaling his sent. We fell asleep like that.

The next morning I was woken up by a door being ripped off it's hinges. I was ripped out of bed by an angry Alpha. Everything went so fast, I saw Sen yelling at his brother and the Alpha getting pâle and then telling Sen something and Sen in turn becoming pâle. I was then pulled out of the room by 5 warriors and faster than I could think, thrown into a cell and cuffed in silver.
I felt someone injecting something into my arm and everything went black.
