The Surprise

HANNA'S POV

The clock read 2:25, only 5 more minuets until spring break, two weeks filled with boys, friends, parties and unforgettable memories. My body was screaming with joy, 2:26 I counted down, only 4 more minutes. I was in 8th period science, the subject I dreaded the most as I was lost in my thought I was dozing off and all of a sudden I hear 'RING RING RING" I jumped out of my seat and onto my desk and screamed, 'YASSS SPRING BREAK BITCHES!' 

I then heard a ruler smack onto my desk with greater force knowing it was my teacher, I looked at my surroundings to see no one was there and that I had only been dreaming. My teacher gave me the death stare, then said in a nasty tone 'Goodbye Hanna have a wonderful spring break now leave my room."

I jumped out of my seat and sprinted home, I had everything planned out. As I got to the door I ran so fast my feet practically left my body, as I was running to my room there I saw him. The malicious devil, the monster under my bed, the announce to the earth, my mothers boyfriend, John. Ugh what was he doing here I thought to myself. I must have said that out loud because he gave me a look of disapproval and said "Hanna pack your bags our flight leaves tomorrow, me you and your mother are leaving for Puerto Rico." Well that snapped me out of my thoughts, WHAT I screamed so loud people in china most likely heard me.

John gave me "that look" again, we completely despised each other. He said, "Don't you dare speak to me in that tone and you can talk to your mother about this when she gets back from the store." And with that he left, I plopped onto my bed like a giant whale and screamed into my pillow, I sobbed until my mother got home. I knew there was no way I would be getting out of this, whatever John wanted he got, he was like the annoying older brother I never had.
