This is a Rebekol fanfic. I am in no way trying to glorify or encourage incest, nor do I approve of such things. This is simply a way of exploring different relationships within a fandom. I am sorry for any offense that may have been caused by writing this. ------------------- Rebekah felt a pang in her stomach as her brother mentioned the girls name to her. Faye Chamberlain. The annoying little witch that was nowhere near worthy enough for her brother. Yes, before she heard Kols news she had thought of the girl as decent, maybe even a friend, but she couldn't help but hate her now. It was jealousy. She wouldn't admit it to anyone, she tried not to admit it to herself but she knew that was what it was, there was no other explanation for the way she was feeling towards the brunette that she had once called her friend. Her heart sank as Kol continued to talk so highly of the witch.

"She's not afraid to speak her mind. I like that in a girl." Kol admitted, as he continued to blab on about the girl. Rebekah wasn't paying attention to his words, only his lips, so perfect, she just wanted to place hers against them. Wait, what was she thinking he was her brother, she couldn't. But so long she had spent away from Kol had enabled her to at least try to push those dark feelings from her mind, the feelings she'd had for him for such a long time. Rebekah moved closer to her brother on impulse alone.

"Kol..." Her voice trailed off as she attempted to get her brother to stop talking.

"Bekah." He replied, abruptly stopping mid-sentence and taking notice of her, rather than his own words. They way he said her name sent shivers down her spine, it made butterflies appear in her stomach no matter how much she tried to fight the feelings, she could not.

"I..." Rebekah stopped, was she about to confess to Kol. She was, but immediately she changed her mind. "I don't think she's right for you." She told him, her tone blunt. "She's a witch." She shook her head, wanting to tell him her feelings but too scared to do so. He stepped closer to her, the gap between them becoming less, but Rebekah wanted it to become nothing at all.

"Why would you say that, Bekah?" He asked, his tone confused, he believed the witch was Rebekah's friend. Why would she not be suitable for the original.

"I-I..." She looked up at her brother and before speaking in an impulse her lips were against his, tasting her brothers sweet kiss. They continued to kiss before Kol finally pulled away.

"Bekah, we're family." He reminded her. She didn't need reminding though, she knew. She knew more than anything, that was the reason her feelings had been left alone for a thousand years. But she could not contain them any longer, not now when she knew there was a chance of losing him forever. The kiss she had shared with her brother had sent chills throughout her whole body, something she had wanted to feel from Kol for such a long time. But, she was no longer afraid to express to him how she felt about him.

"I love you, Kol." She sighed, her hands resting against his chest. "Real love, not family." She told him, her voice quiet, she knew the risk of telling him her feelings. She would not only lose him as a lover, but as a brother too. "I've thought about you every night since you left, about how it would have been if I had told you this when we were human. I kept my feelings a secret from everyone. But I can't do that any longer." Her voice was faltering, tears began to fill her eyes from her brothers refusal. Anyone could have seen in Kols eyes that it hurt him to see the blonde like that, anyone except Rebekah. Kol raised a hand, his touch gentle as he cupped her face.

"I love you too, Bekah. But this..." He gestured to the two of them. "This is wrong." The tears in Rebekah's eyes now escaped at his words. She wanted him, needed him but he would not return the same feelings. It was if something inside Kol changed as the tears left her eyes, his other hand cupped her face and his thumb gentle caressed her cheek. "Bekah, please don't cry..." He pleaded but she couldn't stop, she felt as if her heart had been shattered into a million little pieces. Kol gave into his true feelings, he loved Rebekah too, and at that moment anyone would be able to see his true feelings towards his sister. His lips met her, soft and delicate against rough but gentle, it was the kiss Rebekah had been waiting a thousand years for, and it was far beyond her expectations. Kol run his tongue along her bottom lip, asking for permission to enter her mouth, it was granted immediately. Their tongues danced together, each trying to dominate the other, but Kol would always let Rebekah win the fight. Kols hand snaked around the blonde, pulling her closer to him as the kiss became filled with much more passion, a passion neither of them had before felt. Rebekah's arms wrapped themselves around her brother neck as she was pulled closer, she wanted to be as close to him as possible, closer than ever before. The one thing she had wanted for a thousand years was finally happening, and it felt so much better than she had ever expected it to.
