Danny, what a common name.He is just an average guy that you would see on the side of a train. Wearing a dark green jacket with jeans and black shoes. Danny is depressed, he got his dog stolen last month and his mom does not care about danny, and his dad is an alcoholic. Danny had just graduated college for animal studies and plans to be a vet, and also plans to get away from "home".
Danny woke up, his day was same as ever. He tidied up his bed and left his room.Danny lived in a busy city in New York. He lived in a 2 floored house, it had a broken roof and a garden that haven't been watered for 2 weeks in the front of the house.
in the first floor in the kitchen, Danny prepared egg sandwiches for himself and his mom and dad. After a few minutes his dad opened the bedroom door and wobbled downstairs, he drank too much last night.
"Boy, where's my food." his dad crackled.
" it's here.."
His dad took a few more steps closer to the dining table and fell down. HE got back up and sat down in the chair, and ate his food. Danny looked at his dad in disgust and quietly said to himself "I hate you dad."
His mom went downstairs without saying a word, she ate her food and quickly went out of the house with a bottle of vodka in her hand. She was off to work, danny's mom worked in the morning and drinks at night, Same as dad. Danny has no relationship with his parents, he would be home alone trying to find a job in the internet until 11pm at night. Most of Danny's college friends had already found a job, only danny and his other 4 friends is unemployed.
After his father left too, Danny went back upstairs and continued scrolling down his computer looking for a job.
Scrolling down google, he searched for jobs to apply. Danny saw one website that caught his attention, "Jobs for struggling people". The website encourages you to climb up slowly, from being a janitor into a employee and then into a boss. After reading the text, Danny was persuaded.
Danny walked a mile to the nearest McDonald's and told that he was applying for a job. HE was asked for his age and phone number and he immediately got hired. Danny's shift would be at night.
