I lay in bed all by myself, staring at the roof. Sleep is my new fear, considering I didn't know how to handle it. Yes, I'm really sixteen and afraid of the dark. But when mind takes total control and let's you slip away into imagination beyond your belief, you'd be afraid too.

But my mind is shutting off, and my eyes are starting to droop. I can't do this for much longer, I know this. But maybe, just maybe i I could fight it I wouldn't have to do it for that long. but I know that's impossible. I've never stayed up all night before. It's embarrassing, I know. But again, just a little...

I stifle a yawn and pull myself off of the damp grass, the moon bright overhead. But something was off, the moon was there, but it was more the sun. And in that instant, it changed to the morning.

I sighed, knowing I had slipped into a new world. In a few minutes, or whatever they're called here, a girl would appear. I kind of knew where she came from, because I've had an imaginary crush on her since I was seven. She wasn't real. But she was beautiful. Strawberry blonde hair that curled at the tips. Lime green eyes that sparkled when she was happy, because of me. They turned a dull green when I made upset though, which was when i had to leave. She had a slim body, but was big in other areas.

This was the same world I've been in for about three months, however. Hanging out with my imaginary girlfriend was getting old. I was even getting sick of her. But she didn't seem to notice. In fact, she seemed to enjoy it. Every. Single. Time.

"Joooooonathan," a soft, silky voice called.

I closed my eyes, not wanting her to be there. When I opened them, she wasn't. It was like she was never there at all. I stood there, confused. I'm still not sure how this works, but I'm pretty sure imagination ruled.
