These are the drivers who are going to apart of the Chase for the truck championship:
1) Christopher Bell.
2) John Hunter Nemechek.
3) Johnny Sauter.
4) Matt Crafton.
5) Austin Cindric.
6) Kaz Garala.
7) Chase Briscoe.
8) Ben Rhodes.
The Chase for the truck championship is a 7 race elimination race playoff. The first round is New Hampshire, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and Talladega. You have to win one of those 3 races or run up front a lot and get good finishes. At Talladega we go from 8 drivers to 6, which is a loss of 2 guys. The points are reset after Talladega, then the final round is Martinsville, Texas, and Phoenix. After Phoenix we go from 6 guys to 4, which means the 4 drivers who advance are the championship 4. After Phoenix the points are reset and then the race that will determine the 2017 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion is at Homestead Miami Speedway!!!!!!!!! Whichever championship guy finishes the highest out of his 3 other competitors is the champion!!!! He must either win the race or finish higher then his other 3 competitors. The unique thing about the NASCAR playoffs is that we still have non- chasers still racing and anyone can take a victory from the Chase drivers. The 8 drivers who make the Chase have 1 common goal, to be the 2017 champion! Let the playoffs begin!!!!
I hope John Hunter or Matt Crafton is the 2017 champion!
