Dance With Me

Chapter 2.

It was now wednesday. I was meeting Jayk again tomorrow for another lesson. I was currently getting dressed to go to the mall with Brina and Danielle. I walked to my phone which was currently buzzing.

"Hello?"

"Where are you?" Dani said. I was supposed to be picking them up.

"Im on my way now! Calm yourself!" I said laughing. "Ill be there in 5."

We made it to mall and were currently in Forever 21. We had been trying on clothes for the last 30 minutes.

"Are you guys hungry?" Brina said

Dani and I both nodded in agreement. We paid for our items and headed to the food court. Just as we walked out of the store I bumped into someone.

"Hey London!"

"Great." Of all people I would run into Jayk. Awesome. I mean dont get me wrong he was a good looking guy but I just wasnt feeling it. He wasnt my type at all.

"Following me?." he laughed.

"Oh please!" I rolled my eyes and walked away. We headed into the food court and tried to decide on what to get. I always had to eat Chinese food when I was shopping. It was like my ritual. The girls knew this, and I assume they wanted the same. After we had gotten our food we went and picked a table off to the side where not very many people were.

"Okay, so you know you have to perform a song with Jayk right?" Dani said taking a bite of her food.

"You're kidding right?" She shook her head. "This should be fun!"

"He cant be that bad. I mean he seems nice." Brina said. I sent her a death glare in return.

"Uhm, he is always late and he comes off as a jerk."

"But he is cute! Maybe deep down he is sweet."

"Yeah ok. If you say so!"

"So what song are you gonna do?" Dani asked.

"I was thinking maybe Ride, by Somo. Its a good song and its slow so maybe do something a little slow and sexy?"

"Yes! That would be perfect. Getting all close to Jayk. It'll be good for you, if you know what I mean." She said winking.

"Its just for dancing. Nothing else!" I said getting up as we were leaving.

We headed out to our car and left. On the ride back to Brinas house we talked about what dance they would be doing with their guys.

Brina even talked about how her and Blake, the guy she is teaching, have really hit it off and even have a date tomorrow. I thought it was cute. As for Dani her and Drew seemed to be going smoothly too. Tonight is their third date.

"So you and Jayk should go on a date soon!" Dani said turning to me.

I slammed on the brakes infront of Brinas house. "I told you there is nothing there. Im just teaching him better moves than what he knows and thats it."

"I see the way he looks at you. I know he likes you. Drew says he never shuts up about you!" I rolled my eyes.

"Give him a chance. I've got to go call Blake. See you guys later!" Brina said as she shut the car door.

I had finally dropped Dani off and just as I was pulling out of her drive way my phone started ringing.

"Hello?"

"Hey, its Jayk. Do you want to go grab some pizza tonight?" I swear my gut dropped when I heard him ask that.

"I... uhm.." i thought about what the girls had said. Maybe I should give him a chance.

"Hello?"

"Oh. Yeah, sure!"

"Really?"

"Why not?"

"Great, I'll pick you up in an hour. Text me your address." he said before hanging up.

This should be fun.
