My name is Angelica and I'm a demigod. That's not what's special about me. I have the powers of all the children of the gods. Hades I have some Titan powers too. Anyway Percy wants me to patrol the outskirts of the Bermuda Triangle. Tartarus is suspected to rise there. Seriously can't we demigods have peace. Maybe the Fates will let this patrol go without a hitch. Who am I kidding? They never do. Oh well. Darn ADHD. I keep getting off track.
To be safe I put extra food in the fire this morning for the gods and the Fates. Please let me be safe. Of course that wasn't in their agenda. So here I am clinging to a piece of wood for dear life. My last thought is I should have stayed home.
A telekine is running at me very slowly. I grin waiting for my dagger to get here. I slice the telekine's ugly boxer head off.
I open my eyes feeling rough sand. Am I on Ogygia? No the sand is white and soft. First things first food. I made a banana tree grow and ate a few bananas. Next thing where the Hades am I? This is frustrating. Well I might as well see if I can find someone to ask. Then I heard the fatal barking. Hellhound go figure. I sighed and reached for my dagger. It wasn't there. I can't remember where I put it and I'm too weak to use my powers. I ran full out and found a castle. I stopped. I have two choices. One, I can face an uncertain fate in a castle. Two, I can face a certain death by Hellhound. Castle it is. The gates slammed shut. I tried opening them. "Styx!" I said. Of course this happens to me. I sat against a wall. Think Angel! Think! I was so absorbed in my thoughts I almost didn't notice a monster looming over me. My eyes widened. "What do the Fates have against me? Seriously? First I get shipwrecked, then a hellhound, Then I find out my dagger is missing." I half mutter half say. My anger and confusion and the awful mix of emotions I am having caused my powers to go a little haywire. Meaning mist, different kinds of vines, and random objects appeared. 'This is not my day.' I think. I breath deeply trying to reverse the outburst of power. The previously described things disappear. "Sorry My powers went haywire." I said as Morning Glories untangled themselves from the monster's body. The monster I saw reminded me of the Beast in the fairy tale that was turned into a movie. I repressed the memories of me making Leo watch it and him quoting the candlestick every five seconds for a year! A year! Let's just say I lost interest in the movie. Back to the matter at hand. Dumb ADHD! Oh no! "I see you figured out what I am." It said as I stared in surprise. "Of all the things to happen. I would gladly take Polyphemus or Circe." I say in ancient Greek. The beast chuckled under his breath. I realize he is laughing at me. My hair involuntarily set itself on fire. "It's not funny." I said.
Saying we got off to a bad start is an understatement. He realized the gate was closed and I could sense an enchantment, an Amora. Basically with my uh current condition that spell isn't going to be broken. Stupid Hecate, this is all her fault. The sky rumbled. "Yeah yeah. I get it." I said. "Since we're going to be stuck here together I might as well know your name. I'm Cain." He said. "Angelica." I said. Please don't let him use that cheesy pickup line Leo used on me.
He didn't thank the gods. I might bang my head against something if a guy says a beautiful name for a beautiful girl. It's been three months or rather felt like three months. Time is crazy in the Sea of Monsters. Percy tried contacting me once but it was hazy. I felt a magical pull toward a room that was locked. When Cain was busy I unlocked it. A rose. The source of the enchantment and his life. I heard a yell of pain. Cain! I quickly left the room, locking it.

So how is it? I was reading Beauty and the Beast fan fictions at stage crew and decided to write one. I'm one for putting twists on fandoms so I added Percy Jackson. For anyone who is confused the first domino is Angelica's shipwreck.
