You Make Me Feel Like..

     I've been sitting around all day. Waiting for his call, an explanation of why he left, but i got nothing.

 " Licia, are you just gonna sit around all day." asked my older sister Latasha, taking a seat next to me on the couch. Instead of answering, i sat there mute, trying to hold back the tears in my eyes.

" How about we go shopping to get your mind off of him?" she put her hand on my shoulder. Just as i was considering going, i got the call i've been waiting for from Trey aka Roc Royal from Mindless Behavior.

"Hello?" I answered eagerly.

"Hey.. umm sorry about yesterday. I had some business to take care."

"What kind of business?"

"Recording session."

"Oh.. Well are you coming back later?" I asked excited.

"Nah.. I got dance rehearsal."

"Maybe i can come watch." i suggested, desparately trying to make a way to see him.

"Keisha wont let me." he said hurridly.

"Well how would you know.. you never asked?"

"Yeah, but Prince did. He wanted to bring Bailey but Keisha said no."

"It wont hurt to ask."

"Listen, i gotta go. Ill call you later."

"Alright.. bye." i said, the smile fading from my lips.

"I love you."

"Well sometimes i wonder if you do." i said, the welled up tears beggining to drape down my cheek. I put the phone back on the living room table where it sat as i anxiously waited for his call.

"So i guess were going to the mall?" said Tasha.

"Yup." i said wiping the tears from my face as my silent cry came to an end. Latasha grabbed her keys and we headed for the door.

          * The Mall *

"So, watcha wanna do first?" asked Latasha.

"Well i need a new hairstyle." i said twirling my dark, curly hair in my fingers.

"Me too."

     My phone began to ring as i sat in the chair. It was Roc.

"Dont answer it Li." said Latasha in the chair next to me. As much as i wanted to answer, i had to resist. I had to teach him that im not always available when he wants me to be. He called again. It took all i had to keep from answering, but the third time was just to hard. My hands were shaking, my blood boiling. I had to answer it, so i did.

 "What?" i answered more rudely than i intended to.

"Umm.. Ray Ray dislocated his arm so rehearsal ended early. I was wondering if you were busy."

"Well i sorta am." i said sarcasticly.

"Really? I thought we could spend some time together."

"Well i think that all the time. You make me feel like.. like why should i make time for you when you dont make time for me?"

"Umm.. why dont you call me when your done."

"Trust me, your the last thing on my list right now." i said hanging up the phone.

"Wow." said Latasha with a smirk on her face.

"Was i a little too harsh?"

"Not at all. Sometimes you have to put a man in check. You cant have him thinking everything is on his time. Hes not in charge of you. If you dont put him in check, thats what hes gonna think."

"So" i said changing the subject. "I think i wanna go blonde."
