Amethyst Dragon Sanctuary

"Welcome to the Sanctuary."

"Charlotte! Get your butt outta bed!" Charlottes mother had set up breakfast, "Breakfast is ready!!"
Charlotte yawned then sat up, she looked at her clock "5am??? Ugh..." she got out of bed and got dressed, she was wearing a short long-sleeved white shirt, denim shorts, and white platform shoes. She walked down stairs "Morning sleepy head." Her mother smiled
"It's 6am! Why did you wake me up??" Charlotte snarled
"Hm? Forgotten already?"
"What?"
"*cough* Dragon *cough* sanctuary"
"OMG? THATS TODAY?????" Charlotte ate her breakfast as quick as she could, packed her bags and said goodbye to her mother, her father and brother died in an car accident 3 years ago.

A car arrived, it drove her to a forest.
"This is your stop, ma'am, do you need any help with your luggage?" The lady said
"No thank you, I can manage!" Charlotte smiled and ran off into the forest, her bags in hand, looking around for the sanctuary.

I massive building towered over charlotte, the sanctuary, an Amethyst on the top.
Amethyst Dragon Sanctuary Charlotte thought Im finally here. She walked up to the gates, welcomed by the owner "Hello, you must be Charlotte Dennan, correct?" She smiled
"Yes! I've come for my first egg!"
"Yes, yes. So, you want to be a trainer and rider?"
"Yes, miss!"
"Dearie, don't call me 'miss', call me Amethyst."
"Ok, mi-- Amethyst!"
Amethyst led her to a room, dragon eggs all over the place, "What one do you want?" She gestured to 3 eggs.
"Portal dragon, mirage dragon or flame dragon."
"Portal dragon, please!!" Charlotte received the blue-ish egg I'll take good care of you

She slept in the sanctuary, with the other trainers.

~10 weeks later~

"Oh my god, then training lessons are so long!" She fell head-first in her bed
"Tell me about it.." Her new friend said, he stared at his dark red egg.
Charlottes desk was shaking "What the--" the egg fell of her desk, she caught it
"Jesus, that's gonna hatch soon."
"No shoot, Sherlock" she rolled her eyes at him
"Jeez, that chicks gonna get triggered soon." He laughed.
"Oh, shut up." She placed the egg back on her desk.
"Hey, charlotte?"
"Hmm?"
"Do you mind if I... stay tonight..?"
"Ugh... Third time this week! And it's only Wednesday."
"Sorry.... it's ok if you don't want me to.."
"Jack, I was joking! Jeez! You can stay, I'll get the blanket!"

Charlotte slept on her bed, Jack on the sofa in her room.

"Yawn, Jack! Wake uppp!!!" Charlotte was shaking Jack
"Yawn, Charlotte, what do you want..."
"ITS HATCHING"
"What's hatching... OH MAH GOD? WHAT???"
"LOOK!"
Jack sat up and saw a crack in the blue-ish egg, the crack getting bigger, then they saw a blue tail.

~A hour later~

The egg hatched and Charlotte brought it to the 'hatched eggs' room. They checked the baby dragon over and gave it back to her "Its a boy" One of the workers said.
"Thank you!!!"
"Watcha gonna name him?" Jack appeared out of nowhere, with his dragon
"Omg yours hatched too?"
"Yep. His name is Nex."
"Hm... I'm going to call him...."

I'm gonna start working on the next chapter soon, I have school in the morning.
