31:Fishy Business

24 hours before Day 5

<Livi's P.O.V>

She transformed me, and I changed her.

We worked well together. When we first started dating my sense of style was a black ripped jeans with whatever tank top I find lying around with combat boots.

It didn't change much, but it got significantly better. More matching outfits, a few bright colours here and there. It had always been a bit hard for me to find clothes that go well with my dark complexion- see what I'm talking about?

I now know words like 'complexion' and 'summer colours'.

It was weird I'll give you that, but it was a pleasant weird. Like having a new room. You feel strange at first but it's nice.

Meanwhile Jessy was coming out of her shell. She has been up to trying new stuff she never would have dreamed of doing. Like trying the Haunted house ride, or the actual haunted house near the Westmount road.

Jessy and I were in her car, but I was driving.

"SLOW DOWN, SLOW DOWN" Jessy squirmed in her seat.

I gave the speedometer a quick glance. "I'm not even going past 40km/h"

"No look" she pointed at a female that looked eerily suspicious. She was checking around to see if someone had seen her.

"Is that an ex of yours or something?" I joked but she didn't laugh. She shoved my arm which made us swerve a bit.

"It's not funny! That's Jane, Ryder's girlfriend"

"Oh"

"Yes oh"

"But uhm? What's wrong with Ryder's girlfriend?"

"well for one she's walking towards the Devil's Alley"

"Wo Wo Wait" I stopped her, "how do you know about the Devil's Alley?" the Devil's Alley is an alley that forms a cross with the three pens. Penrose street, Penbury street, and Pendrive stree which are a connection point between Hilltown, Rivertown, and the highway to other provinces.

The alley has actual alleys in it. It's the worst place in the whole town. All sorts of bad things happen there, from black markets to even worse stuff.

"Because I may have been here before" she said looking all around the car playing innocent.

"Are you going to tell me, that the innocent barbie girl Jessy, has been into the Devil's Alley before?"

"I needed to sneak alcohol to my graduation party and I needed a legit fake ID"

"You know legit and fake are antonyms right"

"oh shut up Know it all"

"you're wild"

"Just follow Jane from a distance" that's what we did. We kept following her along Penrose St. Till we were about to reach the intersection with Penbury and Pendrive.

We parked the car in a hidden spot and followed her on foot.

We didn't go into the Alley but we saw Jane enter Wonder Works.

"It's where I got my fake ID. They fake all sort of paperwork and stuff"

"Shit girl you know more about this place than I do" I was genuinely surprised.

She flipped her hair in a very feminine 12 year old way "Well you know it's the innocent ones who you should be scared of"

We waited till Jane got out. While waiting Jessy explained that Jane told Ryder that she was pregnant and everything is tense between them and Spencer. Meanwhile Spencer and Ryder were going to be an item until Jane dropped that bomb and ruined everything. And they all think she's lying and framing Ryder.
