3| Why Don't You Have A Tail?

"Hey doll face glad to see your awake."

"Why am I in a small lake?"

As the words slipped from your mouth the auburn haired man bursted out in laughter.

"Why are you laughing at me?" You angrily shouted at him.

He only bursted out into more laughter. After a bit of you angrily glaring at him he calmed down.

"You're adorable doll face."

"Why are you calling me that? What even is a doll? And why don't you have a tail?!?"

You gestured to his legs.

"What do you mean? Why don't you have legs? What are you?"

He looked at you strangely. Like you were a monster. You suddenly felt self conscious. You brought your tail close to your chest and wrapped your arms around your tail.

You felt cramped in the space suddenly and decided to get out. Slipping upon the action the man ran towards your side to help you up.

Wrapping his arms around you he helped you sit on top the bathroom counter.

"Why did you do that!?"

"I-I don't know!"

"Can't you just, like, grow legs?"

You shrugged your shoulders at him.

"I don't know, what even are legs?"

"Things you walk on!"

Your face scrunched up in confusion.

"Walking? Legs are useless! You swim everywhere."

"You're hopeless." He let out an exasperated sigh.

"Oh yeah? Well you're annoying!"

Anger glinted in his eyes at your statement.

"Whatever, you'll be gone by dawn anyways we don't want a fish creature like you in are house. Goodbye."

I looked at him confused as he left.

I'll be gone by dawn?

My eyes widened in horror.

Are they going to kill me?
