~Going Steady~
We pulled into the schools parking lot, just as Riker was asking me if I had anything going on after practice.
"Nope, whatcha wanna do?" I asked.
"Meet your parents." He said smiling.
"Well my parents are divorced, and I'm with my mom tonight, so you could meet her today and my dad on Wednesday..." I said nervously.
"Sounds great babe" Riker said hopping out of his car.
Did Riker Lynch just call me babe?!?!
"Hey, can I get your number?" Riker asked pulling out his phone.
"Yeah it's 1234-667-4321, and you probably would want it if you are already calling me babe." I said joking. He looked at me like I was crazy.
"Oh sorry, but Spenser, I really like you and I was wondering if you would wanna be my girlfriend." Riker said shyly looking at the ground.
"Yes I would, but don't tell anyone, not even you brothers until you meet my dad. My dad is weird about that kind of stuff." I said embarrassed.
"That's not a bad thing you know." Riker said.
"So you don't think it's tacky that he has to meet you?" I said stunned.
"Not at all. If I have a daughter, I'm going to do the same thing." He said laughing.
"I will meet you at my car after practice, k babe?" Riker stated .
"Sounds great." I said giving him a hug. I smiled at him and we walked to class together.
