"I know it's tough, but please don't give up. Don't speak that way, because I won't allow you. You're too young to live this way. Just close your eyes and see. The true meaning.
You're too young to live this way. Just look around and see that life is beauty."

The chemistry between them didn't lie and Eddie would have taken any chance provided if he knew that he could make it work with he and Seamus. There hadn't been an opstacle blocking their path, nor would they let anything stop them. The only thing preventing the two from bonding had been another man, perhaps a comrade.

A living, breathing human being. One of their closest-held friends, even.

Eddie was oblivious to the nights where Seamus and James spent alone and the way that they held onto the other.

They were in a happy relationship of almost a year, or so it seemed. Eddie wasn't normally a jealous person, although he could sense that something was wrong between the two. They didn't share the spark that he and Seamus were consumed within. Nothing had been the same since James came into the picture, anyway.

He felt like his repressed, horrible side would reveal itself when he spotted the couple together. His feelings had to have been somewhat impure, and he did his best to ignore the way his heart fluttered for the other man.

Somewhere within, though, he wanted it to be him holding his hand, him to be the one that Seamus could fall into at night , and him waking up to the other each morning. But it wasn't him, it was James, and that didn't stop him from dreaming and hoping, somehow, that he may have a chance.

It may have been tempting, though he couldn't betray his friend like that. He couldn't risk hurting the Creatures, so he continued to admire the other man from a distance and fading into the walls of the background.

Ironic how he had to fall in love with the only oblivious one, wasn't it?

"What did I say about acting like an asshole in front of my friends and the fans?" His eyes widened and his back hit the wall.

James continued to make slow and steady steps towards the older, smaller man whose hands were held in front of his chest defensively. "Am I going to have to teach you a lesson?" His fists shook with anger as his eyes dulled into a furious smirk.

Seamus could never say aloud how genuinely afraid he was of his boyfriend. The one person who was supposed to care for him through everything was one whom he feared the most. Things didn't always be like this. They used to be the perfect couple, they used to be happy. Though, James changed, and Seamus was afraid of what he may do if he tried to leave.

"Please.. no, don't.. I-I'm so sorry," he mutters, "it won't happen again!"

"You're right," James' voice was narrow and cool though it added to the tension filling the room, "it won't happen again." He snarls and reaches for the blond's hair.

He grabbed the nape of his neck and flings him to the ground, his body slamming into the side of the counter. Seamus repressed the feeling of screaming out in pain as he felt the bruise begin to swell on his ribcage. James was straddling a sobbing Seamus as he worked on his belt.

When his dark intentions grew clear, he squirmed under the superior body-weight and kicked him, his foot grazing the younger's ear. He managed to free himself from the grasp, though he was cut short when his feeble hands clasp the doorknob and he was yanked away as he felt blood trickle from the side of his nose.

He fell to his knees as James leaned in, his breath causing goosebumps to rise on pale skin and his voice was heavy in his ear.

"I thought I fucking told you to listen to me!"
