Chapter Nine:

Harry's POV:

"Ready t'go?" Louis cheered as he slid my bag onto his shoulder and took me by the waist. Liam was right yesterday. Louis had walked me to every class today, and waited for me by every door. He'd not let me carry my books or open my own doors, and he insisted on touching me in some small way whether it be my hand or my waist. It wasn't annoying or suffocating like I had feared it might be, it was nice and endearing.

He was still Louis, just a bit more affectionate and more of a gentleman. "Yeah," I breathed as Louis walked me out the main doors. I gasped as the cold air hit my skin and I shivered as the icy water splattered my arms and hands. It was raining and I hadn't thought to wear a jacket.

"Here," Louis spoke, "Take mine," before I could protest Louis wrapped his jacket around my shoulders and zipped it up to my chin.

"Louis, I'll be fine, I can't take your jacket-"

"Rubbish," he argued before leading me through the parking lot and opening the passenger side door for me. Once we were both inside and situated, Louis reached to turn on the heat before asking me to buckle up. "So, do you fancy a bite before we head to mine?" He asked and I nodded, food sounded good.

We pulled up at a small little coffee shop not far from the school. "What would you like?" He asked and I shook my head at him. "Harry, I'm buying you something whether you like it or not," I rolled my eyes before asking him for a hot chocolate. He smiled triumphantly before giving my order to the barista. Louis took his tea and handed me my hot chocolate before picking out two chocolate chip muffins.

I shot him a look but he only flashed me a heart melting smile and nodded over towards a booth. "You're unbelievable," I grumped and Louis chuckled before taking a large sip of his tea.

"Oi! I just bought you a muffin, don't make me regret it," he teased and I rolled my eyes and took a sip from my hot chocolate.

"Is it any good?" I asked softly after a moment of silence and Louis smiled before ripping off a piece and holding it out to me.

"You tell me?" He asked and I rolled my eyes, but wrapped my lips around the bit of muffin, taking Louis' thumb with me. His eyes widened but his smile remained making him look dopey. I moaned at the taste and let Louis' finger go freely. "I take that as a yes," he cheered and I nodded and he slid the second muffin over to me.

After our little date- I mean. Pitstop or whatever, Louis took me to his house for the first time. It was a large white house with blue shutters and a red door, much like the one in 'the Notebook' actually. Louis opened the car door for me and took me by the hand up to his front door. "Honey I'm home!" He shouted making me giggle. Sure enough however four pairs of feet started and the sound of running and laughter filled the house as Louis' sisters shot down the stairs, anxious to greet their big brother at the door.

"Louis!" They cried as if they haven't seen him in ages. It occurred to me that they probably haven't seen him much these past few days with him staying at mine until at least dinner time.

"Girls, there's someone I want you all to meet. Girls, this is my friend Harry. Harry these are my sisters Lottie, Fizzy, Daisy and Phoebe," he cheered as he pointed out each one.

"Hi," I smiled shyly as I waved at them. Lottie blushed and waved at me, and Fizzy did the same only not smiling nearly as wide as her elder sister. Daisy and Phoebe tilted their heads to the side and looked at me skeptically before shrugging and rushing over to hug my legs.

"Alright, alright! That's it for introductions. We'll be in my room, don't come knocking," Louis warned and the girls all nodded and ran off in different directions. "They like you," Louis assured me as he opened the door to his bedroom. I looked around for a moment, taking it all in before replying.
