Chapter 1-An old "friend"?

        Nagisa Pov

               I looked at the sky. The crescent moon was always a devastating reminder of our fallen educator. But, it was my turn now. To follow in his footsteps. To go and get the education I needed to become as amazing and inspiring as he was. It was already 12:00. How long had I been staring at the crescent moon?  School's tomorrow! I flipped into my bed and drifted off into a deep sleep.

         Kayano Pov

                Dreams. Oh how I hated dreams. They just kept on reminding me that I failed. You didn't get the guy! All of your acting and you can't even pick one scenario to use to get him to fall for you! It was just over and over and over. You failed! You failed! You failed! I couldn't take it anymore! It has to end! Nagisa's gone! He's gone! I can make it all end. This isn't a play. I choose my story. And in my story it seems like the universe doesn't want me to have a happy ending. So I'll choose my ending! I'll end the show! I'll end it all! I ran down to the kitchen all alone. No sister, no parents just me. All alone. I grabbed a knife and then went up to my room. I took it and slit my wrists. Pain. So much pain and then. *Ring* *Ring* I grabbed my phone,covering it in blood. Nagisa was calling. I answered. I was going to hear his voice, one last time. I grabbed the phone crying and greeted him.

                     Kayano-H-Hi Nagisa.

                     Nagisa-Kayano are you okay?

                     Kayano-Yeah I'm...Ah!

                               I screamed in pain as I realized the end was coming. Nagisa. G-Goodbye.

                     Nagisa-I'm coming there right now!

                      Kayano-Nagisa! N-N-No!

                            I couldn't let him see me like this. I locked the door.

            Nagisa Pov

                   I grabbed my phone and called police and paramedics and then I ran to Kayano's house. I could tell she was hurt and badly. If she couldn't disguise this, but she could disguise the tentacles, she was definitely in a lot of unbearable pain. I arrived at the front door, which was locked. I kick dig open and ran upstairs to see Kayano holding her wrists as they bled out on the ground.

Nagisa-Kayano!

Kayano-Nagisa...

I cradled her in my arms, holding on to her. I could hear them coming upstairs. She was going to be alright, but I couldn't let go. I just wanted her to be in my arms forever, but his was life and death and she was starting to lose consciousness. I saw the doctors come and take her into the ambulance. They started immediately working on her when they got in the truck. I followed and sat in a seat next to Kayano, while she held my hand.

Nagisa-It's gonna be alright you're gonna be okay.

Kayano-N-Nagisa...

Nagisa-Kayano. Stay strong. Stay with me. You can do it Kayano. Cmon.m

Kayano-Nagisa...

Nagisa-I'm right here. Shh. Sleep. You're gonna be alright Kayano.
