As the taxi took her into downtown she looked out the window watching as the bridge over the river slowly disappears as she enters the maze of buildings and streets of Downtown Gotham city. Olga sighs as the taxi come to a stop at a red light and when she looks down an alley-way she quickly sees a spray painting of a bat symbol.
She looks forward to the driver and asks "Do you know what the bat symbol was back there?"
The driver looks into the mirror with a small amount of fear in his eyes. "It's the symbol of a vigilante that roams the night taking down criminals. Some say he is a hero and others call him a criminal. All I know is that you shouldn't be out after dark."
He looks forward and Olga decides to just drop the conversation and take the advice he gave because it looks like just talking about it made him be more alert than before. She looks out the window and waits till she gets to her new apartment.
*Olga's POV*
Once I'm out of the taxi with my suitcase and I pay he immediately leaves briefly mentioning something about it being too late. I turn around and look at the old looking building behind me. For a place like this, you think the buildings would be more modern.
As I walk in I see a door labeled office to my left and I knock on the door. Immediately I am greeted by an older man who looks like he is in his 50's. "You are the new girl aren't you?" He asks. Before I can respond he says "Follow me I'll show you to your room."
We walk up to the third floor until we finally reach my room. He walks me down to room 302 and unlocks the door. "We have 2 monthly checks to make sure the room is in good condition. Rent is due at the end of the month."
Before I can ask about when I need to do for the check he is gone. I sigh and walk into the room. "Home sweet home..." I toss my shoes half way across the room and set my luggage next to me.
My other stuff hasn't arrived yet so the room is super bare. I sigh and decide to sleep in the recliner for the night. I take Happy from my suitcase and lay down on the recliner wrapping it around me. As soon as I lay down I pass out for the night.
