End of Contract?

Minhyuk was surprised by a visitor in their apartment, It was Chairman Son who came that Sunday morning

"Cha--chairman Son, good morning, ah please come in" she said,

she was thanking the Lord internally that she was in her nice dress as she was preparing for a meeting with Mr. Park again with her cousin Jooheon

" Good morning Minhyuk, I'm sorry for my sudden appearance" the older smile and seated herself

Hyungwon her friend is still asleep and Kihyun has morning shift in the hotel

"It seems that you have an appointment, i think I really should have asked your number with my grandson, I wanted to ask you if you can accompany me today" the older told her with expectant smile

" ah, ah,hmm.. It's okay to me chairman son, I will accompany you" she said nervous

"oh thank you, but please don't tell Hyunwoo, he will be angry at me, you know he might think that I am scaring you" and the two of them laughed

She called Jooheon that she wouldn't make it

She was brought to a big mansion, and she was amazed by it, it's to luxurious but homey

"have a seat please, feel at home" the older told her with a smile

"I heard from Hyunwoo that you make good art"

"oh that, I ah, I make that as my hobby, Chairman" then she smiled

"please call me Halmony, because soon you'll be my granddaughter too" with that she almost lost her breath

"I want to know if what good piece of art is good to place at the center wall" then she pointed the location

Minhyuk looked at it and observe the whole house

"ahm, Halmony, for me it's not just because of art but as I look in your house, I can't see any of your family picture, I think that would be the best, to fit that portion" she honestly said

"that's very nice of you" she said and paused then sighed "yes before it has there but the picture was broken and removed by Hyunwoo when he knew that his father leave them when he was in his high school years" then the older give a bittersweet smile

"I'm sorry to hear that Halmony, " now she knows why Hyunwoo is like that

"I think it's my fault too, because I tried to arrange their marriage when they were younger, I thought it would work when they had Hyunwoo but instead those things happened" the older stand up and walked towards the garden she just followed

"Hyunwoo was the most affected when he was growing up, he always witnessed his parents fighting and quarrelling, he would just cry at his room and in the morning, he will try his best to fix his parents by asking them to have their breakfast together, or by giving flowers to his mom, he will pick flowers from this garden and will tell her that those are from his Dad" She slowly stated and wipe a tear that comes off, Minhyuk just sympathized

"but many times, it didn't work he was always left alone at the table, I saw everything he tried and his pains but I can't do anything with it" she sat at the chair near the pool and placed a flower picked by her in the table

"I am getting older and I thought of arranging Hyunwoo would be the best decision, but I remembered all of this and now I know I was wrong"

"this is like you Minhyuk, you're a sun flower that shines, you let my grandson feel the love he deserves and I thank you very much for that, now I can rest at peace and give all the responsibility to him as the chairman because I know you will be there supporting him" she saw the genuineness of all her words and it break her inside, that she started crying
