Hell Just Started

August 2nd. The day before hell starts. It was 10:30pm. I'm on the phone with my best friend in the whole wide world. "We should be getting sleep. We have to get up at 5 in the morning tomorrow." "I guess you're right." She agrees with me(which is very rare). "Night Henry.  Love you." "Night. Love you too." Just to clarify, no. She is not my girlfriend. We're just friends. To be honest, I couldn't sleep that night. Who can sleep on the first day back? I was too excited. Let's all be honest here. We all know you DON'T wanna go back to school but you're hella excited because you can see all your friends again. That was me all night. I believe I fell asleep around 12 and woken up by myself. I check the time. 4:20. Well, might as well get ready. I got myself out of bed without a struggle because I was about to see my friends in a couple of hours. I slowly open my bedroom door. Don't wanna wake up my parents. I sneak into the bathroom and hit the shower. The cold water hitted my back. "Fuck!" I whisper and immediately turn the knob in the opposite direction. I got out of the shower and went and change into my first day outfit which I pick out like 2 weeks ago. I got on my favorite band t-shirt with my jeans and I pair that with Addias shoes. It look me 20 minutes to do my hair. I keep lying to myself that I didn't need to impress anyone but let's be real. I'm trying to impress everyone. I grabbed my rounded glasses and backpack and went out to the bus stop. I got on the bus and plug in my headphone. Green Day blasted in my ears. Just how I like it. When I got to school, I spotted all the lost freshmen. Can't believe that was me last year. I went and pick up my schedule and headed to 1st period. Chemistry. Great. A class that I will 100% fall asleep in. To make things worst, my chemistry teacher's voice put everyone in the whole class to sleep. This is gonna be one every long school year. I thought.
