Chapter Five

Carlos POV

I woke up from my sleep when I opened my eyes the first thing I see is Jay. I sat up and stretched my arms and Dude came walking towards me while stretching too. I grabbed him and started to pet him. I let him go and took off my covers, I walked to the closet I grabbed my running clothes and walked out.

I went to the field and I jogged around the field. It was really early no one was out of their dorms at this time. I saw Jay's team on the field. They were gonna practice, but Jay didn't tell me he had practice today. I was about to leave I was at the door of the gate. Until "hey Carlos!!!" I saw Chad coming towards me. I looked at him "hey cha..." He held me towards the gate and he started calling me names. "So where's your fagit ass boyfriend eh Gaylos? You made him gay didn't you, or did you make a love potion eh Gaylos?" I was really scared of Chad and the team was just watching.

Chad started hitting me in the stomach, then to my face. I was crying really bad it hurt so much. While he was hitting me I remembered how my mom used to hit me in Isles. Hey started kicking me and then he got tired of it he left me all in a ball on the floor. "NEVER COME HERE TO THIS FIELD GOT IT GAYLOS, AND TELL YOUR FAGIT ASS BOYFRIEND HE'S OFF THE TEAM!" He walked away I tried getting up, I held on the wall and walked then I fell in the middle of the garden and I passed out.

Jay's POV

I woke up I looked around the room and I didn't see Carlos anywhere. I saw a note on the table " Hey it go for a jog at the field I'll be back soon~ love C" I looked at the bottom cuz I know he would leave a time it said five a.m.. I looked at my phone and it was twelve p.m. already. I was starting to get worried I called Mal and Evie and they told me they haven't seen him.

I looked around the school and I didn't find him. I went to the field and I looked around. "Hey, Jay!" Doug was calling me he was with his band group. "Ya," I replied back. "Um, Chad told me to tell you... That... um, you're off the team." He looked scared that I wound explode but I didn't. The only thing on my mind is where is Carlos. "Hey, Doug have you seen Carlos by any chance?" He looked at me like if I didn't know "he's in the hospital. I thought you knew?" I looked at him "can you take me? Why is he there at first?" Doug looked at me getting worried "um I don't know Adrie told everyone. She found him in the garden all beat up and passed out." We walked to the hospital.

Fairy God Mother was in Carlos room when I walked in. "Hello, Jay. I'm sorry for what happened to him." I walked to Carlos bed and touched his hair while he was sleeping. "Don't worry Jay the nurse made him go to sleep for a while he will wake up in a few minutes. I'll leave you to be alone." She walked out and I walked towards the chair and I grabbed it and placed it right next to his bed.

I was waiting for him to wake up I was getting scared cuz of the sleeping curse he did before. I fell asleep and I woke up two hours later. I found my self in his room still but I had a blanket around me. "H....ee....y." I heard a whisper coming from Carlos. I looked at him "ssshhhh don't talk in here." The median made him sleep again he slowly fell asleep again. I started to whisper "I'm sorry for not protecting you, I wish I could have been there for you. I love you, Carlos." I got on his bed and laid next to him.
