Chapter 1

Demi Pov:

I honestly can’t believe I’m going to be a guest star on Glee. I adore this show so much and I always wanted to be a part of it. I may or may not have a huge girl crush on Naya Rivera though. Her voice is so amazing and she is so hot. I have met her a couple times and she is so sweet. In fact a few days ago I got a tweet from Naya saying “So excited for @ddlovato to join our cast! Wonder what we’ll get up to in NYC!” I kinda fangirled so hard. I’m super stoked to start filming this week. I decide to tweet “Wayyyyy too excited to be starting @GLEE this week!!!!!!! Asjfkdjshdk 😆😄😜” I think I’m way too excited to meet the whole cast. I’ve been in my thoughts for a while now forgetting that I had an interview for my upcoming season of X Factor. I better get ready, before I put my phone down I get a text from.. Oh great from Grandpa Simon

To Demi: Brat, you had an interview over 20 minutes ago, get your butt down here.

From Demi: Hold your horse’s old man I’m on my way

Once the interview was over, I decided to head home so I could have a relaxing night since my mind was everywhere. As much as I was excited to start filming for Glee, I was just as much nervous. I haven’t starred on a tv series in so long and my nerves were shooting through the roof. I decided to just grab a cup of tea and head to bed. As I was drifting off my phone vibrated and it was Wilmer. I was glad to get a call from him because I was missing him a lot. 

“Hello” I said answering the call.

“Hermosa, hi I miss you so much”

“I miss you too Wilmer, what are you up to”

“Not much just wanted to check up on you, I wish I could see you babe, but my work schedule is so hectic right now”

“I know and its ok, I’ve been pretty busy too.” I said even though I wish we weren’t so busy. 

“Are you ready to start filming Glee?” Wilmer asked. 

“Yes, I’m so excited but I’m so anxious about it, I just don’t want to mess anything up and I want the whole cast to like me”

“Aww Princessa they will adore you like everyone does, you will do great”

“Thanks Wilmer, I’m gonna head to bed I’m so tired”

“Ok Hermosa sleep well, I love you” “Night, I love you too” 

And with that I hung up the phone. I know it sounds like Wilmer is my boyfriend but not really, we’ve been off and on for years. We are like best friends, he has helped me through so much. Some days I wish we would just make it official because no one makes me feel the way he does. As my thoughts fade away I fall fast asleep. I wake up to my phone going off, I slowly start to move towards my phone. Once I reach it, it stops ringing and my phone says “One missed call, two messages” I look up at the time 6 am. Ugh great too early for me to be up but I am meeting with Lea Michele and Naya Rivera for coffee before we start filming in a couple of days, but were not meeting up for another 4 hours. My missed call was from my manager, I decide to read my texts.

To Demi from Lea: “Demi, hey are we still on for coffee this morning?

To Demi from Wilmer: “Good Morning beautiful, you sounded really stressed on the phone last night. Call me soon xo”

I decide to text Lea back first,

To Lea from Demi: “Yes we totally are on, I’m so excited, see ya soon :)”

Then Wilmer,

To Wilmer from Demi: “Hey Babe, I am a little stressed about filming this week but I’m going to go meet up with Lea and Naya here in a bit, I will call you tonight xx”

I get a quick response from Wilmer,

To Demi from Wilmer: “I’m glad you are meeting them before you start filming, it will be good for you, have fun. Can’t wait to talk to you tonight :)”

I smile at the text because Wilmer is right it will be good for me to meet up with Lea and Naya, it might help calm my nerves. I decide to get out of bed and go grab a quick bite to eat. I head to the kitchen and I try to decide what would be good for breakfast. Pancakes, yes pancakes. I eat and by this time it’s almost 7 so I decide to do some of my meditation before I head to the shower. I really enjoy mediating it really helps me stay positive throughout my day. As I get up from meditation I remind myself “Even Miracles take time”My goal for today is; have patience, even the great changes in our lives need time to occur." Yes that is my goal that I wrote in my book that I published. Each day I use these goals as daily reminders to stay strong. I head to my bedroom and pick an outfit for the day. I decide on some skinny ripped black jeans, with my AC/DC shirt, my leather black blazer, and of course my black combat boots. I head to the bathroom and hop in the shower. Once I finish with my shower and get dressed. I brush and blow dry my hair, then I add my makeup. Once I’m finished I decide to call my manager back to see what he wanted.

“Demi hello, how are you today?” My manager asked. 

“I’m pretty good today thanks. I seen that you called what’s up?” I asked. 

“Yes, I wanted to know if you would like to be featured on a new track with, ready for this?” I waited impatiently until he said who it was, then he said 

“Kelly Clarkson” I froze for a minute then said “Fuck yes, you didn’t even have to ask.”

“Ha I thought so, I will set up a meeting between the two of you”

“Awesome thank you so much” and I hung up the phone. Oh my god, I can’t believe it Kelly freaking Clarkson. I’m gonna be singing with her. I can’t wait.

I head over to meet up with Naya and Lea. I open the door of Starbucks and I spot Lea sitting down but I don’t see Naya. I really hope she comes because I really wanted to see her, it’s been awhile since we last saw each other. I am however, kind of nervous to see her because I have a huge crush on her. Lea spots me walking in and signals me to come over so I smile and walk over to her. I hug her and sit beside her. 

“Hey Demi it’s so good to see you.” 

I smile and say “Same here it’s been awhile”

“Yeah it definitely has, listen I just got a call from Naya and she isn’t going to be able to make it, I guess her and her fiance got into a fight and she isn’t in the mood to hangout, I hope I’m enough company for you” She says then winks at me.

 “Aww of course you are Lea, I’m so stoked we met up and can’t wait to work with you” I say smiling.

Great Naya isn’t coming I was hoping we could catch up before shooting, oh well I will see her on set in a couple days.
