This is just a request. My girl commented and voted for most of my chapters on my newest love story "What Could've Been" and I just want to give her book a shout out and her profile a shout out. She's so nice and sweet. She's also very talented and smart. If you could read her book "Mission: Hell" it would mean so much to her and me. Also her profile name is @moonlover123 she's amazing.
Please read "What Could've Been" for me. I really want it to get more noticed.
Also there might be some kissing...
Very very vivid kissing...
Thanks (: enjoy this chapter.
Eric and I grabbed our camping, equipment, at 6 AM, and started to roam around the areas where the men were killed by the Lamia. Eric thought we should try to search the area of where they were killed to see if there was a common ground and I was surprised that he suggested that. He usually says something stupid like "let's hide in the trees and wait." Like seriously? Who suggests that? Oh.. Right Eric does..
So we did what he said. We searched and eventually I had found blood trails and some fabric caught on a branch. The funny thing was that only one was dragged. We couldn't find any other blood trails or evidence. I wanted to set up camp somewhere in the middle but Eric thought that we should camp at the spot where no evidence was found. He said that because there was no trails or evidence then there might be a reason like the guy was in the Lamia's little territory. I swear Eric is on some kind of role.
"When did you get good at being a hunter?" I asked jokingly.
"When did you become so lazy?" He retorted.
"I am not lazy," I defended.
"Sure you aren't," he said sarcastically.
I rolled my eyes and continued setting up the tent. We had camp all set up and decided to just lay in the tent. I climbed in and laid down while Eric did the same next to me. He propped himself on his elbow and stared at me. I propped myself up with my elbow and stared right back until I felt awkward.
"Why are you staring at me," I asked.
"Is it a crime to stare?" He retorted.
"If it's me then yeah," I said.
He rolled his eyes but kept on staring at me. I laid down and just relaxed. Even though it was difficult since I could feel the pebbles seeping into my back.
"Have you ever kissed someone?" Eric asked, his voice filled with curiosity.
"Uhh no, why?" I asked feeling very uncomfortable.
"I was just wondering. Why haven't you ever kissed anyone?" He asked. What is this? 20 questions?
"I don't have time to socialize. I work too much," I replied.
"Well you're not working right now," he said.
"Yes I a-" I was cut off by a pair of lips. More specifically Eric's lips. I was surprised at this sudden touch and pushed him off. I looked at him with wide eyes and furrowed eyebrows. He looked at me completely calm but something clicked in me. I calmed my expression and realized I craved more. I grabbed his cheeks and pressed my lips, eagerly, against his. He responded immediately and put his hands on my hips to hold me close. Our lips moved together in a synchronized fashion. He pulled me closer and I gasped at the sudden movement. He smiled and kissed my face all over. I giggled every time his lips touched my face.
"That wasn't bad for your first real kiss and all," he said.
"Why did you do that?" I asked.
He shrugged and said, "I wanted to."
