Chapter 2

     When I got home from hell, I went upstairs and saw Jackson sitting at my vanity with a face full of makeup. Eyeliner, mascara, blush, you name it was on his face right now. ''Jackson, really. I cant take you to the park looking like that.''. Jackson said ''but I like wearing makeup''. That was shattering my heart for an unknown reason, maybe he was gay, maybe he didn't like his face, but only time could tell.. I got Jackson a wash rag and wet it down with soap and water then scrubbed all the makeup off. His face was beet red. He ran to the bathroom to take a leak. Now I know what you're thinking ''He is so young and cute!'' Jackson is 11, very strange child.

     ''Jack Jack! We have to go to the doctors honey!'' I could hear my mom yell. I ran over to the balcony and said ''He's in the bathroom'' she nodded. ''Well you will be home alone for a bit. don't go outside of our lawn, crazy people in this economy'' okay Obama, stop the speech.

''Okay'' I grumbled. Jackson came out of the bathroom and I motioned him to go downstairs. ''Okay Stelle, be back in about an hour or two'' I nodded and said goodbye.

     Freedom from the crazy family at last! Since it was almost summer and hot as hell here in Jersey, I put my bikini on to swim in the pool. I darted down the stairs and to the front lawn. Yes our pool is on the side of our house. I walked across the crunchy grass and dolphin dived into the pool. I was swimming around when three boys caught my eye. They looked over at me but my hair was in my face so I tucked my head in and flipped it back to see. It was them. Nolan... Adam... Nick, and a wittle doggy. Nolan looked at me in awe for some weird reasons. I would have jumped out of this pool to go see them in a heartbeat, but no I just slowly went under the water for 10 seconds and popped back up. They weren't there. they had turned around the corner mimicking my hair flip and pointing a lot. They really are some crazy kiddos, wait who am I calling a kiddo? Their 21 I'm 18, I'm the kiddo.

     I was chilling on the couch the the door opened and mom and Jackson popped in. Jackson ran to me and said ''The doctor stuck weird tubes and needles in me...'' I nodded not knowing what to say. ''I saw the guys pass the house, they're headed to the park I think, wanna go?''. ''Mom can I go?'' Jackson said happily. ''Yes, but Stelle, don't be out too late, and don't talk to strangers'' the run through, every single time.

     I grabbed Jackson's hand and we walked down the road to the park. Just like I thought, I saw Nolan and Nick playing frisbee and Adam was sitting on the bench, on his phone, with the dog. I opened the gate and walked in, Nick saw Jackson out of the corner of his eye and said ''Hey little buddy!''. He looked up at me and was staring deep into my eyes. I felt like he was probing me. He said ''Hey, hey Jackson... Whose your friend?'' Nick said shyly. ''Shes my sister! She 18, goes to Oshkosh high, shes the oldest, she watches your video's, she likes you the most Nick and she has pictures of you on he-'' I cut him off while my cheeks were glowing like Santa's. ''Oh does she now?'' he looked up and winked at me. ''Hey Nolan, pass it over here dude!''

     Jackson ran to see the puppy Adam and Nick owned so I followed along. I saw Adam sitting, elbows on his knees, dog leashed in one hand, phone In the other. I took a seat next to him and I started freaking out. I had never met a celebrity, same with Nick and Nolan, I didn't know what to say or do, so I just said ''I watch you and your brother on YouTube all the time''. Wow nice way to Freak him out Stelle, awesome.''Oh cool thanks'' he looked up and said ''If you look good in my hat, you can be my best friend.'' He took his hat off and put it on me ever so gently and had it backwards. I was laughing like crazy and Adam was just smirking like a goofball. ''I guess we are best-friendzies yay, hug''. I wasn't entirely on board with the hugs but my inner fangirl was saying do it do it do it. I reached behind him and hugged him. He smelled good and hugged good. His hand laying on my head and the other resting on my back. I think that hug lasted a little to long, and someone noticed.

     Nick came charging at me and Adam and said ''Can you just come here, we need to talk'' he said clenching his teeth. ''If its the birds and the bees moms already had that talk with me.''. They darted off and my phone started ringing. it was mom. ''Bad news Stelle, the doctors concluded through tests and studies that Jack Jack has cancer.''. I started crying and I got up and started pacing around in circles, I was yelling random things into the phone such as ''Those doctors are fucking stupid! Jackson cant have cancer, he just can't!''.

     ''If you lay another finger on that girl, I will slap you so hard''. ''I thought you said you didn't talk to strangers, let alone fall in love with them.'' He said. ''You whore, go crawl back to the wom-'' I Was cut off by screaming. It was her, it was the girl. I ran over to her and said ''whats wrong?''. She hung up the phone and threw it on the ground and sat back down. ''nothing'' she answered, obviously bothered by something. ''Come on tell me!'' ,she cried into her hands. She lifted up her head, looked me dead in the eyes, mascara, eyeliner and everything running down her face. ''Jackson has cancer. My mom just found out.''. I didn't know what to say, so I just hugged her in close. I don't care if she stains my shirt, I want her to be okay.
