I V A N

While every tenth grade student already had their feet placed on the ground, I sat down on the bus stairs for I am not going to waste my time by falling in line beside a slut.

Just as I thought, I spotted a girl stalking towards me with her hips swaying from side to side. She was hot but I really wasn't feeling any motivation to do something, anything.

"Hey, Iva--"

"Not interested. Shoo" I deadpanned her and she looked surprised. Surprise, surprise.

She rolled her eyes before walking past me and started to seduce JP, to which he gladly accepted and of course me, tsked. Whenever a girl tried to seduce him, he'd multiply it to a hundred.

I saw JP leaning closer until their lips were glued. I rolled my eyes and contemplated if I should count seconds until when he can hold the kiss or look away.

I chose the latter and turned my head to face the other bus. I happened to plant my gaze on a waterfall of brown. She was facing the other direction as I watched her hair sway fluidly.

She started to turn her head around yet I still kept my gaze on her. When her eyes landed on mine, I had an idea who she was. Her eyes stayed for a second or two and wandered off again.

From my peripheral vision, I saw Euski, Divine and Katherine. Not only then did I realize they were heading towards me. Me.

"Van, can you help Euski? She lost her phone" Katherine looked so worried. Oh for duck's sake. I'm a friend and not a servant. Shitholes.

"Please, bestfriend?" Divine gave me her sweetest smile that only two boys could see. Me and her supposedly boyfriend, apparently. I don't care if she gave me her sweetest smile, but if I did what they want me to. Then I'd be far away from their group.

I huffed before ruffling my hair. I stood up from the bus and took long strides. Who did she think she was? I was her bestfriend not her servant. If only I wasn't in a bad mood.

I came to realize that I was absentmindedly walking towards a waterfall of brown. Shit, let's do this as smooth as possible.

I saw her looking at the boy beside her with a horrified expression. It looked cute on her, with her eyebrows slightly furrowed, eyes wide, mouth that formed into an 'O' and the strands of hair on her face. She looked like a child.

Her head tilted to look past the boy's shoulders and once again, once again, her eyes met mine. She straightened herself up and muttered some words to the boy before he turned to face me. Pfft, I came for you, you bitch.

"Hey, have you seen a phone somewhere?" I asked while shifting my gaze to the girl's eyes. Unlucky me, she was busy fixing her hair.

"Huh, why do you ask?" She looked at me, into my eyes. Her hair was already falling until the back of her waist and she gave me what I guess a curious look? She had her eyebrows furrowed, again, cute.

"Because my friend lost her phone" I shoved both of my hands into my pockets and looked at her with a pokerface. My usual face. My face.

"How would we know if you're saying the truth?" This time, she crossed her arms and raised one eyebrow. She looked sassy and fierce. Hot.

she has no breasts

I coughed to hide the laughter that was about to escape. Thoughts can be a bitch.

"Becaus--"

"And nothing but the truth?" I was cut off by her and I internally smiled. Outside though, was my bored face.

"Because I speak only the truth"

"That's already a lie, shoo"

"All I need is an answer if you saw a damn phone, sweety" She raised both of her eyebrows and it seemed like she was taken aback.

"Nah. We haven't." I turned my head to look at the boy beside her and let out a huff. I mumbled a thanks before turning my back against them.

I didn't want him to be the one to answer.
