Sanda?

I woke up to the sound of birds singing outside. The wind flying into my bedroom and stroking my face.

I moved the stuffy bed covers away from my sweaty face. The warm sunlight shone in my face, I sat up and breathed in the fresh morning scent.

I slowly got out of my bed and walked to my closet. The old wooden floor creaked and creaked.

I reached for the closet handle and turned it, I took a few steps away whilst it was opening.

I was afraid that my crazy roommate ,Sanda, would jump out and scare me, like she always does!

But today she wasn't there. I sighed in relief, then took out my clothes for the day.

I looked at the Mirror behind me on the door.
I saw myself wearing an white oversized Tee which was hugging my slim figure, and black ripped jeans with my old red sneakers that Sanda gave me for Christmas.

Eventually I was nearly done getting ready.

"Just need to brush my teeth and do my hair"

I said to myself.
I paused, something felt different... VERY different.

Usually at this time, I normally hear Sanda listening to her rock music in the other bedroom. She would put it very loud and sing to it. But strangely today I couldn't hear a drop of a pin!

I walked out my room and looked left and right. Once again being aware if she was just playing one of her stupid pranks again.

"Sanda I know you're hiding somewhere! If you are then come in here... Jump out and scare me? Like you always do!.... Sanda?...SANDA!?"
, I shouted.

That's it, I said to myself. So I stomped to her room and barged inside.

No sign of her.

Her room was normally always messy and had piles of clothes everywhere!

But today it was just...
Tidy.
"Tidy? What the hell is going on..? I need to know where she is!"

I looked further inside her room
Then I saw a crumbled piece of paper scattered across the floor with a blunt pencil on top of it.

It was a note..
Maybe a runaway note?
