Kichi, I should explain soooo here we go!  She is a starguardian, her whole village is really. But anyway they have a ceremony at the age of 10 to see what kind of stars they can create.  Kichi here is very powerful and can create black stars (I just made that up) therefor the rest of her time remaining in that village is to protect the stars that reside their.
