Ezra was outside. The cold stung his face, but he didn't get up. He liked the cold.
What am I doing? The young Jedi thought. I need to get rest.

Yet he couldn't keep his mind off of Sabine. Her almond brown eyes melted his heart, her smile, infecting his soul. Every time she moved, he felt as if the world was moving in slow motion.
Ezra was about to stand when a voice stopped him.
"Hey," the voice was Sabine's. "What are you doing out here? It's cold," she sat down next to the Jedi.
"I was just thinking," Ezra's voice trailed off as Sabine's hand was placed on his shoulder.
"What about?" the Mandalorian inquired, raising an eyebrow. She could see it in his face. He wanted to tell her, yet he didn't know if he should. Should I be concerned?  Was the thought that flooded into Sabine's mind. "Y-you don't have to tell me if you don't want to," Sabine mumbled after a lengthy pause.
"No, I do want to tell you. Please don't get mad," Ezra's sapphire eyes met with Sabine's brown.
   "I won't. I promise."
Should I? It would be awkward... thoughts of doubt flooded his mind, causing these three words to be a jumbled mess, "I- li- ou."
"I'm sorry?" Sabine laughed slightly, guessing what he was trying to say.
Ezra took a shaky breath and cleared his mind of any worries or doubts, "I like you."
There was a pause. Sabine blinked, thinking it too good to be true. "You like me?" she asked, joy flooding her mind, her heart, her soul. Of course it's me... I'm the only one here. Stop being stupid, Sabine. But it was hard not to.
   "Yeah... If that's awkward I-"
Ezra was cut short by lips touching his. The Jedi tensed, then relaxed and closed his eyes as he let the kiss envelope him. Her lips were warm; soft.
Part of Sabine wondered if Ezra had kissed someone before, because he was amazing. Every second was pleasure, and his hands running through her hair was satisfactory. How long the kiss lasted was long enough to make them both gasp with amazement.
"Night, Ez," Sabine stood up and walked away, still gasping for air.
The night wasn't cold anymore, and Ezra couldn't stand because of how amazing he felt.
