Dreamy Monsters

Chapter 1

As monsters rome the dark night, owls hoots in the distance making the hair on my neck stand up straight to a point.

I swiftly move past branches that were trying to reach out and grab me.

The night was dark to a tip. The wind was slicing through my hair causing me to shiver every second or two. I move deeper into the woods. I'm still moving past all of the branches, trees, and sticks. I try not to step on any sticks or leaves, so I won't make any sound but it doesn't work, I stop moving as I see a pair of red and yellow beady eyes staring at me. Like they're trying to find my soul to take it for there own. I turn a little to my right to see a dark rugged object. It's some sort of animal or monster.

The shadowy figure starts moving slowly toward me closing the gap between us. I start moving backward but I hit a tree.

Soon enough the gap between us is closed and its inches from my face causing me to flinch in fear. Soon I see something. It's the moon. It showed down onto the spot we were at. It was bright enough for me to see the beast that was breathing down my neck making me feel trapped and uncomfortable. It's eyes where blistering yellow. "I'm sorry Valentina." His voice was deep, strong, and demanding. But something about him made him seem harmless. But even though he sounded armless I was still intrigued.

Before I ask him his name I'm left alone standing against a dark oak tree shocked and paralyzed like a stone statue. All I could feel was my heart pounding through my chest and the cold wind hitting my neck. I realize that I was breathing hard so I try to calm myself down. "What just happened?"

HEY, GUYS, I KNOW ITS SHORT BUT ITS THE FIRST CHAPTER AND I DID NOT WANT TO START OFF WITH SOMETHING SUPER LONG. THEY WILL GET LONGER DURING TIME.
