When I open my eyes I find myself staring at a blank canvas.
I don't recognize my surroundings until I remember what happened. It's Saturday and it's summer. Summer had just started yesterday. And I was already losing my mind.
I sat up straight in my bed trying to act normal but it wasn't working.
Once I'm sitting up straight the world starts spinning causing me to get dizzy.
Before I know it everything goes black and I find myself in the woods once again.
But it felt and looked different this time though. I felt alone and..........empty.
I felt a griping hand on my wrist pulling me around to face them. I turn to see a dirty blond boy around the age of me. He had icy blue eyes that could make a girl freeze. I had to admit, he was kind of cute. I was caught off guard when his hand brushed over my lips causing me to shiver. And once again he spoke those cold, dead words. "I'm sorry Valentina."
I try to speak but nothing comes out. I try to look him in the eye but he never lifts his head.
"For what?" I ask once I get the courage. He lifts his head and looks straight into my brown eyes. His eyes looking sad and broken. Nothing like before.
"Everything."
And with that, he disappears into darkness once again leaving me in shock.
