Ten years ago
If only my music could play louder to help drowned out the screaming and arguing. This isn't the worst I have heard but obviously the most affective. Twenty minutes of their endless screaming over only the heavens know. Only two words stuck out over my favorite song, Believer by Imagine Dragons, " I'm leaving..." those two words shattered me and my once loving father. Following by the front door slamming and her car being cranked my mother left and to never returned. Hours later the news interrupted World of Dance saying a woman was found dead after driving off the interstate and falling to her death, my mother was killed in a car accident blinded by rage. That was caused by my father....
Present Day
After seeing my father get arrested I knew we finally got our peace. Twelve years we have been fighting this maniac and it all started with a fight. The only thing I could never answer as I lived on is,
"What would mom say about this?"
Not knowing I said it out loud.....
