For the rest of the week, Yoongi and Jungkook have spent every moment together, enjoying each others company. Today they were at a bowling alley, but there was something off about the older's behavior. It was like he was trying to avoid the younger and Jungkook didn't like that one bit. He thought that since Jungkook and the older spent all night talking, they would develop some sort of relationship. But boy was Jungkook wrong.
Later that night, Yoongi kept tossing and turning all night, and couldn't help but listen to his demons. He always hated the nights because it was endless taunting.
'How can you love someone, if you can't love your self.'
'Why would someone so innocent love a person that is so screwed up in the head. Tomorrow you better tell him something, cause you don't deserve him.'______The next morning_____
Jungkook didn't have a class for another hour so he sat in the cafeteria, study for an upcoming test. Yoongi cleared his throat to catch the youngers attention, but he wasn't able to.
"Jungkook!" he raised his voice, which echoed throughout the entire cafeteria. The younger took out his headphones and looked up from his book and smiled instantly when he saw the older.
"Jungkook I think we should end whatever this is," Yoongi said bluntly. Getting straight the point, not caring if he hurt his feelings, he felt like Jungkook was too good for him so he had to make something up, anything to make it believable. Yoongi always hated when people were self-sacrificing, but recently he had no choice to make this decision.
Jungkook tilts his head. "Did I do something wrong?"
Yoongi shook his head no. "No of course not. I'm going to be real honest with you. You're a great guy, but..you're also my best friends brother and I won't allow myself to have feelings for you. No matter how much I really like you." He whispered. Yoongi was hoping the younger was understanding. Once he didn't hear anything from the younger he turns to leave. Jungkook stood up, throws his pencil case at the older and Yoongi whirls around and looks at the Maknae.
Jungkook looked at him with teary eyes, and manages to say what he wants. "I never asked you to be with me. If it meant being your friend and staying by your side, I was okay with that." He gathers his stuff and runs off to who knows where. Yoongi plops down and soon regrets his decision.
"You shouldn't have done that Oppa. He's perfect for you." Suran came from the next table over.
Yoongi turns his head and stares at the beautiful girl in front of him. "He deserves someone better."
The young woman confronts the older before she embraces him into a hug. "Yoongi you have to stop pushing people away. I may be your ex, and we may have ended things badly, but you can always talk to me. Even if your head over heels for him." Suran pulled Yoongi out of the chair and embraced her as well.
"I know. When I laid down with him, he fit perfectly in my arms Suran. And if I hurt him any way shape or form it would hurt me deeply." He looked at her apologetic. Realizing who he was speaking to. "Sorry Noona, that was selfish of me." He smiled as he hugged her. They both let go and stared at each other's eyes. Knowing full well that they both accepted that their relationship was over, and that they were head over heels for someone different.
"So how's Josh?" He mumbled awkwardly.
Suran smiled softly, "At least you're trying Yoongi,' She said to herself Only where she could hear it
"He's doing good. Hey, Yoongi maybe we can catch a movie later on and you can tell me about this new boy you like."
Yoongi didn't hesitate because they were best friends before they decided to have romantic feelings for each other. "Fine whatever." He grumbled bitterly before leaving to teach his first music class, which he hated yet tolerated because it was good pay, and he always got inspired by his students.
