Motionless I lie. I lie on my stomach waiting, for either life, or death. I lost all track of time, seconds? Minutes? I couldn't tell. footsteps of the boots stomped past me in the mud. Some of them trip on me, I think one of them kicked me, but I had to stay still. After a while parts of my body became itchy my chest grew pain edging me to move, to readjust my position, just a little I thought, maybe they won't notice? No, I had to concentrate! Or the soldiers would kill me. Until it happened, one of them tripped on me, as they commonly did, this time it was my ribs. Unfortunately, they saw me flinch, worst mistake of my life. Then put the gun barrel against my head, and pulled the trigger, last mistake of my life. There, dead, motionless I lie.
