"Wake up Charles we are going to be late." Frank stated in a stressful tone. As Charlie began to wake up Frank said"We are going to be late for the superhero Showtime so, get in the shower!" Charlie answered with a nod and left for the bathroom.
The showing
"Are they gonna be here or did I waste my time getting up" said Charlie in a annoyed voice. Charlie never liked the idea of superheroes, he thought that it was false hope for children. He never wanted to come to these things but his baby brother Frank always loved too.
Frank answers "They will be here soon don't worry you never waste your time. Infact I can see them coming right now." As Charlie, Frank and all the other city people looked at the superheroes they seemed different they seemed as if they where angry.
"What are they doing? Why are they destroying everything?" Frank said in way as if he had lost hope.
Before Charlie could answer Frank was hit by a beam of light from ironmans suit of armor. Charlie then screams and checks Frank's pulse. His pulse was gone but he did not feel cold because of the heat that came from the beam.
Out of anger Charlie throws a rock at ironman and then he starts to regret it because ironman began to chase him. He tried to run but ironman caught up with him. Soon his friend Tom saw and shot ironman with a gun from his fathers collection of guns. Ironman's suit was damaged because the gun was a powerful shotgun. Ironman drops Charlie and flies of.
"Are you alright Charles?"asked Tom."I'm fine. Thank you for saving me I owe you one."replied charlie in a appreciated voice. Tom then replied with"Maybe we could do less talking and more running away from the rampaging superheroes."
Charlie agreed and they both ran of. They reached Tom's lakehouse and decided that they will hide out there for the night.
