"We cannot break through the enemies defenses." Six remarked as the Hive shook around them. The Control system was active so the male's where left to command the ship. While the Huntress defended it with the control Dart's. The battle was not going well, the cloaked ship's that where meant to deliver the killing blow to enemy Hive where all detected. The ensuing battle, pushed the Huntress's forces back. Destroying the enemy Hive was no longer a possibility.

"We must withdraw." Six snarled as he read the console. The view screen was no different, their forces where being pushed back, the enemy was winning.

"Incoming communication." Another wraith interrupted.

"From where?" the Elder groaned as the ship shook again.

"The enemy Hive?" the other wraith stated confused.

"Show me." Growled the Elder. The image that appeared on the screen was that of an older Wraith-kin, they immediately recognized it.

"Teen!"cried out a female voice from Queen's pedestal.

"Tash, I hoped you would be there." Replied the image of the Huntress eldest son. The female hybrid jumped off the pedestal to greeted her brothers image. She was old enough to experience battle and she often accompanied her Zah'ren into battle. Guide claimed they needed to learn and there was no better teacher then experience. Once they where old enough the Huntress agreed.

"There is no time for pleasantries young one's." Guide growled interrupting the siblings greeting.

"The Elder is right. I just wanted you to give her a message for me..."

"Teen, don't do this." The female hybrid cried out.

"...You are stronger then that little sister. You know, only one of us is strong enough to get near this Queen. You need to lead the rest of us." The image took a deep breath and continued. "Tell her, I wanted to do this, for my brother's." The image did not wait another second, it flashed and the screen went dark.

"Sire."Tashema turned to look for the Elder but he was gone.

"Are you well?" Six's voice broke the silence. All of the Huntress sire's tended to act like a father to her young. The hybrid female took several deep breaths.

"Recall the Dart's." Tashema stated with a saddened expression.

"You are assuming command?" Six responded playfully.

"Do you mind?" when she turned to him with a serous expression on her face Six debated her request, then bowed respectfully.

"Not at all, Young Queen." He purred.

When Guide reached the Dart control system, it was already shut down.

"We could not save him." Stated Four as soon as he saw the Elder.

"I am aware." He pushed Four aside and entered the room. The Huntress was on her knee's, barely conscious, she was wobbling back and forth, her eye's still circled her. She had pushed the other Wraith back and no one could get close to her. When the Elder hissed with irritation she turned toward's him. What the Elder felt was pain, but there was so much more. For the first time in so many long painful year's he could feel everything. Regret most of all, the Huntress regretted her anger. She believed it was her rage, that drove her own blood to such length's.

Guide didn't even notice at first when he stepped right through her defenses unhindered, he was so focused on reading her. He was unsure weather or not to touch her when she reached out for him. He did not hesitate to pull her into his embrace. He feared pushing her away so he just held her as her devices all came to a rest on her back.
