little did I know...

The past comes back...

Autum and Sloan walked into Starbucks and went straight to the counter to order.

"I will have a pink drink with coconut milk instead of normal milk please."

"And I'll have a normal black iced coffee." Sloan said pulling out his wallet,

"I'll pay," Sloan said as Autum looked at him like he wasn't supposed too,

"Fine. But just this once!" Autum said as she tried to find a table, but then spotted the one person that she never wanted to see again.

"Sloan we need to get our drinks and go, I'll meet you in the car, okay?"

"Um, yeah sounds good." Sloan says to Autum as she starts to walk to the door but before she could reach the door she heard someone clear their throat to greet her,

"Autum Bentley... haven't seen you in a while."

"What do you want, Calvin? You've already taken my heart, and almost my life."

"Well, about that I was hoping a second chance... I've been thinking about it and I really regret leaving AND hurting you."

"Awe poor baby, Calvin finally on his knees in front of a girl, high school was certainly not like this."

"Look, Autum, I'm sorry and I don't wanna have to say that aga-" He was saying as he was interrupted,

"Is there a problem here, babe?"

"No, Calvin here was just leaving to go back to his table."

"Yeah, yeah I guess I was. Bye, Autum."

"And who was that?"

"Um well he was just an ex... I don't want to get into it."

"Okay, well you don't have too."

"Thanks. Um also I have to take you home before I go home I have things that me and Blaire need to do..."

"Okay that's fine as long as I can kiss you before we part."

"Awe your so sweet."

a few minutes later

"Well bye, I'll see you tomorrow." Sloan said leaning over to kiss Autum.

"I love you..." he whispered under his breath as she drove off. Sloan had not believed in love at first sight until she walked right into him with a boiling cup of coffee. That day he KNEW that she would be his, and he loved the thought of that. He wanted to know more about this ex of hers but he didn't want to bother her about it. Then again though he was her boyfriend and he wanted to know how he could look out for her. He was going to be her Knight in Shining Armor. He was going to make sure that whoever that ex was stayed away from her.
