Siobhan's POV:

I was waiting anxiously at Gatwick Airport. I wasn't scared at all but it was the prospect of seeing my internet best friend, Jael. We would have met when we were sixteen but I was still at college so we had to wait another two years.

We met on Tumblr when we were 14 years old and had been the best of friends ever since, trying our very best to talk every single day which was sometimes extremely difficult because I occasionally got grounded for swearing or I was spending a week at my school friends' house.

Jael was always the sweetest girl I knew, she would message me every day and wish me good night when she was heading to bed, sending sweet and reassuring words to comfort me and help end every day as a great day.

I pulled up the sleeve of my sweater and checked my watch. Only another 10 minutes and she should be landing... I couldn't wait!

Jael's POV:

I had already been travelling for approximately an hour and only had around 10 minutes left until I landed in a brand new country. I was overjoyed by the fact that I was finally meeting Siobhan after four years of talking on Tumblr and calling one another on Snapchat. The morning before I left, Siobhan and I promised that we would wear our 'best friend' sweaters.

Siobhan had the pink one whilst I wore the turquoise sweater. It was something that we said we'd do when we first met in person but we couldn't wait so we ordered them separately online and wore them.

It seems insane that we were only fourteen when we starting talking online and now that we are old enough, we are going to meet in person. It's literally a dream come true! So much has happened in the four years I've known Siobhan but I am going to name the best moments.

My high school crush asked me if I wanted to be his girlfriend and of course I said yes, Siobhan and I started sending each other gift even though we live 465.9 miles away from each other and then we planned to meet in real life. I couldn't be happier with my life but I knew that it was about to get so much better!!

Siobhan's POV:

I finally got the announcement that Jael's plane from Switzerland had landed so I hurriedly dashed over to the departures area and waited for my best friend to arrive. After waiting for what seemed like an eternity I saw Jael walking towards me with her big suitcase in her hand.

My best friend spotted me and we charged towards one another and engaged in a huge, bone-crushing embrace. It was so overwhelming to see someone that I had literally dreamed about meeting on multiple occasions and I couldn't feel happier or safer.

Approximately and hour later we were in Hastings Shopping Center (Priory Meadow) and we had at least five bags on each arm.

"Whoa! I'm exhausted and seriously can't wait to get back to your place." Jael muttered excitedly beside me. I smiled knowing that I had helped her to learn English better and I nodded in agreement with her statement. We hopped on the bus, talking merrily about what we should do in our time together and when we should introduce our boyfriends to one another.

Not even 465.9 miles could keep us apart.
