A/N: Don't worry I'm not abandoning my other story but I'm starting this one. *Dramatic British voice* It came to me in a dream. No seriously part of this did.

Lucy couldn't believe her eyes, it took everything she had not to slap herself in the face to make sure she wasn't dreaming right now. It was just a simple walk around Crocus, doing some sightseeing with Natsu and Happy before the Grand Magic Games started. Now, here she was staring wide-eyed at the boy she had saved all those years ago.

Flashback

It had been two weeks since Lucy ran away from home. She was fifteen at the time. She was walking along the forest after getting a bite to eat. When she heard a roar and the scream of a child from within it, she had bolted towards the sound of the two loud noises. When she came upon a clearing she saw three large Vulcans surrounding something.

As she drew closer she found out that it was, in fact, a young boy. About ten years-old. He had pitch black hair that rested just above his shoulders, part of it was covering the right side of his face. Even though it was hard to tell with all the blood and bruising on his face she could tell he had blood-rose red eyes.

She watched as he launched off the ground at one of the Vulcans, his fist covered in some black mist, as he yelled, "Shadow Dragon Punch!"

His fist successfully hit it's target and the Vulcan was taken down. Lucy was amazed at how well a ten year old could fight. As she thought that, she took a look at the rest of him. She saw lots of cuts and bruises, old and new. She knew then that maybe he had been living in the woods for a while now, so it was expected that he would have to be a fairly decent fighter. Obviously he had magic as well, what kind that was Lucy didn't know though. As she was stuck in her thoughts, the boy had taken out the second Vulcan and was about to move on to the third, when it attacked him from behind before he could dodge or block.

When Lucy heard the scream of the boy she quickly snapped out of her own little world and watched in horror as the Vulcan had the boy's neck in his hand and was holding him up in the air. The boy was trying his best to pry the Vulcan's hand off him, but to no avail. Lucy decide dit was her time to step in and help.

She pulled out Cancer's key and called him out, "Open! Gate of the Giant Crab! Cancer!"

As the crab spirit came out of his gate and did his little pose, Lucy said, "Cancer, find the pressure point that will make that Vulcan drop the boy!"

"Yes Lucy." Cancer said as he quickly shot forward, and with ease found the pressure point that caused the giant monkey to drop the boy.

As soon as the Vulcan let go, Cancer went back to the Spirit World and Lucy pulled out her whip and slung it forward where it wrapped around its ankles. With a flick of her wrist the Vulcan was brought up into the air. When he was a good ways up Lucy grabbed hold tight of the whip and yanked down as hard as she could. This caused the Vulcan to be brought down to the ground at lightning fast speed. When it made contact there was a large boom and a huge dust cloud formed. As the dust cleared Lucy cautiously walked closer to the crater to make sure the giant monkey was really down. When she saw the swirls in its eyes and its limbs sprawled out every which way she knew it was finished.

Feeling proud of herself, she smiled widely until she remembered the whole reason she had fought the Vulcan in the first place. Her head quickly shot over to the young boy laying in the grass slowly losing consciousness. She ran over to him. Her eyes gazed over every part of his body to see if he could wait until she got him to her campsite she had, believe or not only about half a mile away from here, or if she should treat him here and then take him with her. Only seeing minor cuts and bruises and no serious lacerations or obvious broken bones she gently snaked her arms under his knees and around his upper back. When she got him in a position where his face looked comfortable she started to walk. She stopped when she heard him groan. She gazed down at the boy only to see his eyes half open. He blinked a few times before he saw her smile down at him.
