"Aw, come on, Mark!" She said. Mark was her mate. "I was hunting for the pups! Remember?" She asked. "Oh yeah.." responded Mark. "Lets get going home. I found an elk for them." He said. They ran home. "Daddy! Mommy!" The pups yelled when they saw them. Whitney, the runt, was already eating. "I wanted the first bite!" Complained Sugar. "You're all getting food. Just be greatful." Said Sapphire. She turned around and ran out. "Why does Mommy always run out when she wants us to be greatful?" Asked Mika, the adopted pup. "I don't know." Responded Mark. "I don't know.."
