The Husband Games.

"Smile, its the REAPING" I said with a burst of excitement,

"Urgghhhh" my BBFFL said, (Boy Best Friend For Life).

"Matt, come on, stop being such a spoil sport everyone loves the reaping" I said to my best friend.

"stop being such a spoil sport everyone LOVES the reaping" said Matt under his breath in a rather insulting and mocking tone,

"heeeey" I said back giving him a playful slap on the arm.

"I wonder who is going to be the Lucky girls to win this year" I said looking into space as if I had just seen the most magnificent thing in the world, ignoring Matt's hand gestures and eye rolling.

I looked down at my watch and saw a mini Niall Horan smiling back at me,

"sugar, I need to get ready" I said urgently.

I turned away from my smiling Niall,

and gave Matt the puppy eyes which he fell for every time.

"fine, go" he said shooing me away,

"thank you thank you, I love you" I said, (he is my best friend don't judge).

I gave him a big hug, abruptly got up and ran away.

"wish me good luck".

I said to the nonchalant face of Matt.

" good..........." I had already turned the corner and was out of Matts sight.

it was sunny in district n1, it was always sunny but I didn't mind that.

today is the biggest day of my entire life and everyone else's.

it was the 100th annual husband games!!!!!!

let me explain;

every year there is a band or a television show cast who are all single, they come to each district and girls get chosen to go into the husband games, they have to do lots of difficult tasks related to the Husbands likes and dislikes, in every task girls get eliminated if they don't succeed. 15girls get picked from each district, the districts are:

(I am in district N1.

I have entered every year since I have been 16 but have been stopped by the very first obstacle, getting picked!!!

this year I am definately entering because it's the best band in the entire world ONE DIRECTION!!!!!!!!! I am entering for Niall.)

after that there should only be 2 girls remaining, then it is down to the husband's to decide out of the two, which one they prefer.

that is their future wife.

I got home and slipped on my freshly ironed green dress that showed off my amazing figure, I brushed my long brown and blonde wavy hair and let it flow down my back to my curvy waist. I put a thin line of eye liner on with an N on the tip of one and a H on the other. I looked back at my green watch shaped in a shamrock, it was 11:34.

"it's OK, I still have 26 minutes" I slipped on my high heels and walked out the door with my keys and clutch bag, I wandered down the street to see the BIGGEST queue in the world!!!!
