The sound of heavy rain drops struck the brick roof of Guy and Steve Fieri-Harwell's home. Guy and Steve married just after their love could be legally proven with a certificate, almost 2 years next month. Although they've only been married a short time, they've been together for almost two decades. Their affair first started one night at a Smashmouth concert. Steve was playing with his band one night in Santa Rosa. It was a busy tour. Shrek came out earlier that year, resulting in 'All Star' becoming a number one hit. The game of course got to Steve. Back stages dressing rooms were always brimming with groupies. Steve was drinking heavily after every show, and of course have sex with every woman he met backstage. But the constant sex, drugs, and being at the top of charts never felt the void in his heart.

Saturday September 5th 1999- Guy Fieri's home, Santa Rosa, CA.

"Lori? I landed some tickets for Smashmouth tonight! Wanna go? We can catch a bite before and have some drinks" Guy questioned his beautiful blonde wife of 4 years. They had met on a mutual friends yaught this time 2 years ago.

"Who the fuck is Smashmouth?" She stated abruptly.

"You know, that band from around town? The one that hit big this summer"

"Oh right" Lori related. "I think I will stay home. I have some work to catch up on anyway."

Guy knew what she meant by "work". Over the past few weeks Guy has been seeing the signs of a cheating wife. The scent of cologne, her low libido, and always having to work. Even though she was a hard working model, he knew that there was another man. But what ached him most was that he was okay with it. Guy had been happy at the beginning. The fame, a beautiful wife, a TV brand deal. But he spends more days now wanting to get out of his house, and away from his wife.

8:30 pm:

"PLEASE WELCOME TO THE STAGE...

SMASHMOUTH!"

The crowd went wild. Girls threw their undergarments at the stage. Screaming could be heard for miles. Steve ran out on the stage stage.

"HELLO SANTA ROSA!"

The opening chords of "I'm a believer" echoed through the stadium.

I thought love was only true in fairy tales
Meant for someone else but not for me
Love was out to get me
That's the way it seemed
Disappointment haunted all of my dreams

Steve looked out into the audience. In all of his ecstasy of the performance, he managed to catch eyes with a man that looked to have been around 40. His beautiful blue eyes sparkles back. His slicked up glistening white hair blew in the air from the stage fans. Dressed in a fiery red top, he looked like Prince Charming.

I thought love was more or less a giving thing
The more I gave the less I got oh yeah
What's the use in tryin'
All you get is pain
When I wanted sunshine I got rain

The song continued as Steve howled out the lyrics. He didn't lose eye contact with the unknown male. He was so distracted yet so focused.

Then I saw her face, now I'm a believer
Not a trace, of doubt in my mind
I'm in love, I'm a believer
I couldn't leave him-

Shit. Shit. Shit shit shit shit! He thought. Him?! Did I just sing that out loud?!
The confusion in the crowd enlarged as Steve stopped singing abruptly. He ran off the stage.

12:00am- backstage.

Steve had locked himself in the dressing room for over three hours now. Thoughts raced through his mind. Am I in love with a man? Am I gay?

His thoughts were cut off abruptly by a knock.

"Hi Steve, we have someone back stage from the food network who wants to meet you. He says it's important"

"Send him in" Steve managed to cry out.

Steve didn't know why, but he thought it was time to get out. And this was a good start. He will meet him, then leave, he thinks.

Guy fieri enters the rooms. Blues meet blues. No words are spoken.

Guys POV:

As I look into his eyes I see my future. I see a change. I see happiness. I see myself no longer living a lie. I have never felt what I have felt right now. And it is time to tell him.

"Hi, I am Guy Fieri. It is nice to meet you. I love your music, and I was so glad you came to my hometown"

"Th-thanks. I'm sorry I'm just... We kept looking at eachother during the show. Please tell me you feel it too?" Steve croaked out.

Saying no more words Guy crashes his lips against Steve's. He felt his silky warmness suck on his mouth. He tasted sweet. They stopped for air. Looking at each others swollen lips made them even more turned on. Steve could feeling Guy's hard member pushing against his stomach. Steve sucked at pressure points on Guy's neck. Steve squirmed under his touch. Guy fell to his knees. He unzipped Steve's pants and his painfully hard cock slipped out. "I can't believe I'm doing this. But it feels so right." Guy licked up his shaft. He sucked and licked him until he came. Hot semen spewed from his large member. Steve returned the favour to Guy. They left together that night, and never looked back.

September 20, 2017. 18 years later.

The rain poured even harder. A flash of lightning made Steve jump. Knowing Steve is frightened of storms, Guy held him tight on their shared leather couch. Guy thought of things to make Steve laugh so he would have his mind on something else. "Hey, remember the night we met?"

And then I saw his face, now I'm a believer.

Without a trace, of doubt in my mind.

I'm in love, I'm a believer I couldn't leave him in a tried.
