I am SO sorry for not updating. The musical took a lot of time them I was in the hospital for a week. Im writing this in lunch so you know I was busy. It was just a mess
Kevin's POV
Flashback
"Esther, can we talk?"
"I'm scared!" "Why Kevin, he loves you?" "But, what if he says no?"
"If he didn't love you, he would have said 'No' along time ago. Trust me I'm his sister."
"Ok. If you're sure." "Hey, I gave you my blessings. I wouldn't just say that for anybody." "I'm glad you might be my sister in law, Esther." "Me too."
End of flashback
Me, Scott and Mitch are in the dressing room, before the concert, and I feel like I'm gonna pass out!
"Kurvy, stop panicking," Mitch said. "Big daddy would never say no to a knock out like you." "Yeah" Scott added. "And you can't keep doubting yourself. That's basically questioning how much he loves you!" "Basically." Mitch repeated
Kevin chuckled. "Sometimes I swear y'all are like one person split in half."
"Don't change the subject!" Scomiche sassily replied at the same time.
"Just stick to the plan and stay calm. All you have to do is put on the ear mic, and sing the ending. Esther will take care of the rest." Mitch said.
"Promise?" "Promise!"
Last song of the show (because I'm not good at filler)
We're in the middle of I Need Your Love, the plan is starting. I AM NOT READY!
Two crew guys come on stage, one with a chair in his hands, and go's straight towards Avi. I can feel a lump in my stomach sinking a they tell him to sit on it.
We get to Avi's solo and Esther cuts off his and my mic and turns on the ear mic The stage lights turn off and there's a spotlight on me and him. No backing out now.
I slowly walk towards him singing his solo.
"I need your love,
I need to your time.
When everything's wrong,
You make it right"
I get down on one knee and held his right hand. He puts his other hand over his mouth.
"I feel so high,
I come alive."
I let go of his hand and pulled out a black leather ring box (I don't know what they're called) and hold it in front of him.
"I need to be free with you tonight..."
I open the box, showing the ring (picture above) and finally sung
"I need your love."
Avi's POV
Welp, this was unexpected. He proposed...to me, my wannabe lumberjack looking self. I don't know what to think or do or say or...wait say. Have I been silent this entire time. Oh fff-crap, what do I say?
I can visibly see Kevin's eyes darken, hope changing into sadness. I need to do something before this goes wrong, so I act on impulse and (la la) latch onto him in a hug, him almost imedeatly hugging me back, dropping his mic in the process.
"yes. Yes, YES, YES, YES, YES..." I repeat over and over again, crying at this point, though no one else could hear me except for Kevin and the Trio because of the ear pieces. Then I hear Scott yelling in his mic, "HE SAID YES!!!" And with that the audience roared with cheer.
Kevin suddenly stood up, rising me with him, and slammed his lips on mine. Though it caught me off guard at first, I kissed back, feeling as though Kevin and I were floating in space.
I knew that this was just the beginning of something beautiful.
A/N So... since I couldn't make part 2 long enough, I decided to merge both chapters...Boop boop. Also if y'all wanna see the wedding, I might need suggestions. BYE!
