Chapter 2

While we were walking Tray stopped dead in his tracks,"what's wrong", Kirah said from behind him. He pointed to two dogs running towards us only a block away,"girls run and you too shaun!",carron said. They must be giving us a head start.

As we were running I realized tray and carron running behind us,but we all didn't realize that the dogs stopped chasing us.

When I turned back around I didn't recognise where we were,"carron where are we" he gives gives me a look that has ''I don't know'' written all over it.

We are lost.

"Tray do you know where we are",Shaun says.

"Nope not one bit,but there is the corn field. Maybe we can go through that", he points to the field across the train tracks.

"Why in the heck would we do that. Don't you watch movies", shay said.

"We don't have any other choice. This is the only way", Shaun says to shay.

"Their right", kirah says.

"Okay let's go then cause it's getting late and we don't have any service", Carron said after turning in circles lookin for service.

It started to get dark and the more it did the more I got scared,"Denny do you wanna hold my hand?you look scared", Carron said in the most trusting way.
"I really am, but thanks", is all I say before I take his hand in mine as we walk behind everyone else.

"Everybody turn y'all flashlights on", Shay says as it starts to get even darker outside. When I pull out my phone,I check the time. Its 9:56. Fuck its almost 10:00 at night.

All the girls have a guys hand. Shay has Shaun's hand, Kirah has trays hand,and I have Carrons hand."We have been running and walking for hours and my feet hurt", I whine like a baby.

" you wanna get on my back" Carron offers.

"thanks but I'll be fine" I said with smile.

"Hey look there's our street", Kirah says while pointing to a street with only six houses on each side. Its only one yard away now.

"See I told y'all this was the right decision" tray said when we got to the to the house.

"Whatever" shay says then giggles at something Shaun said in her ear. They are already acting weird and they just met.

Right when Carron was about to knock at the door,Yanna opens it. She is dressed up like she's going somewhere.

"We was just about to go look for y'all. Where yall been",Yanna said.

" We got chased by dogs!",shay yells a whisper.

"Then we got lost",tray said.

"And tray had us go through the cornfield",kirah said with a deep scowl on her face.

"Then we made it back here",Shaun said.

"Good", Come in and eat before the food get cold", Jody said.

We walked in and saw pasta with chicken breast,and garlic bread," Wow that smells good. Who cooked?", I said to Yanna.

"Girl who else do you think cooked" Yana asked me still laughing.

"Me" I said laughing again.

"Shut up" she said to me,but didn't mean it.

After eating we all sat down on the couch in the back room to watch a movie,"What movie do y'all wanna watch" Jody yelled like he wasn't in the same room as us.

"Let's watch a horror movie" I said.

"Then we can watch a comedy afterwards" shay said and everybody laughed but agreed.

Jody put a movie in the DVD player and sat on the couch. I never saw this movie before.

I woke up still sitting on the couch with my head leaning on kirah. The movie was still playing and everyone is asleep. After a while I decide to put a Cover on everyone and go back to sleep.
